send pixie dust. She challenged a fellow 4th grader to a race across the playground and back. Seems he thinks boys can do everything better than girls. She told me last night she was racing for women's rights! She is very confident, and the whole school seems to know about it. Wish her luck!

Said it was not even close. I asked her if she was gracious to the loser and she looked at me like - huh? Said they didn't speak the rest of the day.

Good luck to you daughter. Hope she kicks his butt! I loved racing anyone and everyone when I was in school. Heck, I still do it.

:wizard: Couldn't find the pixie dust, so here's a manly wizard to cast the spell of speed on her.

I beat Joey Bishop(not the original) in 4th grade. That was more than 30 years ago and I still savor that victory.

I wish her luck:D

Way to go :Pinkbounc . Let us know the outcome.

All i have to say is: YOU GO GIRL!!!! thats so awesome. if i were in fourth grade i would race along with her. major luck sent her way!! :teeth:

OH! good luck to your daughter! I still challenge boys to whatever it is they say they are better than me at(or any girl) and...i usually win! Girls rock the world!!

Makes me want to sing that song in the Mia Hamm/Micheal Jordan commercial from a few years ago.

Female voice:"Anything you can do, I can do better. I can do anything better than you."
Male voice: "No you can't!"
Female:"Yes I can!"

You go girl! I hope she kicks his butt!

Good luck to her! My DD beat the boys on the tennis court in some running last year and they had to do push-ups! They were not happy that they kept getting beaten by a girl!:p

It sounds like something my girls would do. I wish her lots of luck. :)

I should've challenged you to a foot race at WDW last November. Even though you're a foot taller than I am, I think I could've helped Kallison's dd's race for women's rights.;)

I hope she does well! It reminds me of a shirt we bought for my daughter when she was younger. It said on the front: "Girls kick butt" and on the back "I'm a girl and I can kick your butt!"

Keep us posted on how she does.

Good luck to your daughter. She's feisty, huh? Good for her!

I knew she wouldn't need the extra pixie dust.:teeth: Congrats to your dd.
