My DC vouchers here!!!!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My voucher came today!!!! Myself and DS are booked for the 7th December for the dolphin swim, and I just want to tell the whole world!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure you won't freeze, although do you have warm weather all year round in North Carolina? Where I'm from, it was just above freezing yesterday! So, you can imagine, when we hit Florida, "freezing" won't be in our vocabulary!

We arrive on the 25th November, and will be happy if it's nice and warm for our 2 weeks there?

We're just so excited about the whole trip, 2nd time to Disney and SW for me and DS, and first time to Universal and DC. Can't wait!

Thanks! I hope you have a great trip too! We will arrive on November 25 as well. It is usually in the 40s and 50s in North Carolina in December. (It was around 80 here today.) Our last trip was in 1996. This is our first trip as parents so I'm not sure what to expect. We plan on taking things a lot slower than usual.

Oh Julie-Anne,
Have an absolute wonderful time at DC! We swam with the dolphins in Nassau while on the DinseyCruise a few years ago and it was truly a once in a lifetime experience I am sure you will be plenty warm enough. Congrats on your excursion confirmation and have the best vacation ever.

P.S. I think your son at 8 years old is the perfect age for a WDW vacation, he is old enough to enjoy all the attractions/rides, but not too old to not want to hang with his mum for a week on vacation. He will remember it forever.

Conor (DS) is just starting to get excited about going, I think its just sinking in now? When I first booked the trip his birthday was coming up, and at that age, as you know, birthdays and christmas are all that matters!

But now we are talking alot more about the trip, he's mostly looking forward to the dolphin swim, meeting Spiderman and Spongebob Squarepants, and going back to WDW, which we both fell in love with when we went in 2001.

Last time, we only went for a week, and just did WDW and Seaworld (although we sqeezed MK in twice!) So, I'm trying to make this trip as special as I can. I'm booking MVMCP and a meal at Garden Grill with Chip and Dale and Farmer Mickey. And, I'm going to see if Spiderman will appear at the character dining at IoA? If so, I'll suprise him with breakfast there?

I remember his little face when he first saw his then favourite Disney characters Woody and Buzz and Bear in the Big Blue House, and it makes your heart melt! I want that again!!!

5 1/2 weeks to go, and it's all I can think about!
