My daughter's Sweet Sixteen

My daughter Alli is celebrating her sweet sixteen with us(her parents and 2 sisters) and 4 friends in Disney World in June. I was looking for personalized shirts to celebrate her. The crew is:

we are staying in BLT and eating at 1900 Park Faire, Chef Mickey's,Crystal Palace, Ohanas, and Coral Reef. Would love some talented person to help! Thanks so much!

We are doing the same thing for my dd..going in August with dh, myself, dd and 3 of her friends. Also staying at BLT - doing Chef Mickey's and San Angel Inn (per her request). Instead of shirts, my dd and her friends designed bags to carry everywhere. They are the nylon drawstring bags and have zippers in them too. The only neon color they had was orange - luckily that color was agreed up. They made a design with Courtney's Sweet Sixteen in a circle, with minnie dressed up like a chef holding a huge 2 layer birthday cake. In the "icing" they wrote August 2011. It came out absolutely adorable, and was much cheaper than personalized shirts. We all have one. I think that we are going to get white t-shirts and paint them ourselves for the plane ride down and for one day in the parks. Other than that, we are all uniformed with the bags. That's a great idea! Did you iron on to the bags? Do you mind me asking where you got the bags? I wouldn't mind giving them both because i was planning on putting a lilltle goody bag together for when I have the parent meeting. I hope you have a great time too! She is so excited!

We have a local printing store here. What they did was have my dd email them the image they came up with and they screenprinted it onto the bag. They charged me $12 per bag which included the bag itself and the printing and they came out awesome - soo worth the money. I can take a picture of it and email it to you if you want a better idea of how it came out. I'm doing the goody bag idea too for the girls. So far I have the bag, and I just purchased a bundle of pins on ebay for them to trade, so they will get about 30 pins a piece. The seller's price was great - with shipping the pins came down to about 65 cents a piece! They all have lanyards except one friend who has never been to WDW (imagine that!),so we will get one for her in her bag. I was thinking of putting gum in it as well b/c they don't sell it in the parks. Any more ideas?

Our girls have all gone. someone on the design board made a candybar wrapper for me that says Alli's sweet 16 so i will put that in. Since we are going end of June was thinking about Dollar store ponchos also. Also we got them the dining plan so i had someone make me a card that you check off when they are used to keep track. I would love to see pictures of the bag. I will look into that around here. Are you on Long Island? We live out East.

I am in Nassau County. A candy bar would be cute..I'll have to see if I can do that on my computer. I like the idea of a card for the dining plan...can you send me a link to that or point me in a direction for that? I think it would be great to have since there are so many of us..hard to see who used a snack credit and such. I will take a pic of her bag and send it to you..you can pm me your email address if you want, I don't know how to post pictures here. Over spring break the girls made shirts for the plane ride down. Michael's was having a sale - 2 for $5.00 and I had a coupon for 25% off entire purchase good on sale items too! Bargain city
