My Daughter has just got job in disney!!!

That's brilliant news. I'm so jealous. What's the procedure for interviewing as my daughter is quite interested? How do you apply and where to?

well done to your daughter!! I will pop in to say hello to her next year!!:thumbsup2

lucky her ,
so how many times will you be visiting her

Wow, Many Congratulations to Claire.
I hope she really enjoys it, let us know when she starts and keep us posted on how shes getting on.

I must admit my DD (12) says she would also like to do this when she leaves school. :goodvibes

Can I just say from personal experience that your DD will love this. My son Simon did this a few years back, and he would say that it was one of the best years of his life. The entire experience was so positive for him, and in fact he even met the love of his life there, Tam from Vancouver BC. He also met many fantastic DISSERS from both the UK and the USA. It is also very impressive to have Disney on your CV. He is just about to set off for his 4th cruise in just a few weeks time, so you can see that his love of all things Disney has grown still further.
Good luck to your DD and well done for being accepted on this amazing programme. A once in a lifetime opportunity.
Carolyn.

That is so fantastic, how exciting. Hope you will tell us lots more about it.

Hi ScottishTink ! My DD worked in the Canadian Pavilion for a year and had a blast ! as an ex pat we hoped she would go to the British but as she was born here in Canada she ended up next door ! The cast members live in very nice condo type flats called the commons ( party central ) the mix of all the nationalities was really fun. Natalie shared a flat with girls from France, China and Italy, they still stay in touch. You will enjoy some good perks when you visit ! My fave stop is The Rose and Crown for the fish n chips and a Guinness. The way she got the job was when the Disney people came to the college to recrute from the Hotel Restaurant Management Course, There was no 'heads up' they just arrived one day.
Tell Claire to treasure this special time and slosh on the sunscreen LOL:banana:

Thank you all so very much for your kind words and replies. She is really looking forward to her time there and i am planning lots of visits to see her !! Will keep you updated as to where she will be working

Wow! I am planning to apply for a job at Disney after i finish Uni (2 and a bit more years to go!) How did she do it? It would be great to get a UK persons persepective. If ur daughter is on Dis, any chance i could PM her about it? Something i am really intrested in!
