My daughter had to miss the first day of school!

My DD10 started 5th grade yesterday. When she got to school, she threw up on the playground and the nurse called me to pick her up. She had to miss the entire first day of school! I felt so bad for her. She was so excited to go too.

Bummer! Probably the one day the kids are excited to go, that and the last day!

That's awful. Is she still feeling poorly? Or could it have been the excitement of the first day of school that made her vomit.

i know the feeling.. i got set home on the day of the halloween parade and party becuase the teacher made some witches brew stuff and it was so nasty it made me throw up.. i went home and took a nap and i got to go back though.. grandmas are good with that stuff
