My daughter got chosen-Grand Marshal!

Hi everyone, just back from our trip and MNSSHP on 10/24. We are so excited because our oldest DD was chosen to be a Grand Marshal on one of the parade floats for the Boo To You Halloween parade. We were walking in to the MK about 6:45pm and right as we started down Main Street a gentleman approached us and asked her if she would like to be a grand marshal! He said he was looking for unique costumes and children around her age group. (She's 9.) Of course we all agreed and we were allowed to choose which parade she would like to ride in. We chose the early parade and we were given a meeting time behind Casey's Corner on Main St. She rode the whole parade route on a wagon with Lilo and Stitch! Her sister got to accompany her and it sure felt special for all of us. They both got certificates after the parade. Just wanted to share with all my DIS friends!

Thanks so much everyone! It was really awesome! I hope our pictures turn out and if so, I'll try and get one posted. She was a vampire. Black and red vampire cape over a long black dress, red vampire medallion, fangs, make-up and a little blood. I sprayed her hair with the temporary red color in streaks. We have been to Disney so many times over the years and this was a first for us, we always wondered too how people were chosen. If I get a good picture I'll put it out here, or I will try anyway!
