My dates with "The Doc"

Just to add, I wasn't sure about my current SO either, until just recently. It was a slow build.

Plus, he'd never been to WDW, so I just couldn't commit until I'd taken him there!;) Luckily for him, he loved it!;) :p

Oh my gosh! I love these replies! :sunny:

I was just a little worried because I'm kind of quiet in real life, and it takes me a little while to feel comfortable with people.

I do need to have my friends meet him. That is a good way to see what other people's opinions are. I would like to meet his friends too.

I don't know if he is a Disney lover eek! he does love to travel and has been to several places that I haven't. He has actually been to The Galapagos. He loves snorkeling and adventure travel.

Thanks you guys! I hate to admit it, but I'm kind of insecure when it comes to this stuff!

you know what is really nice? you like him right now as someone to hang out with, converse and have some fun times...that is great in itself...if it at some point seems like a relationship that will go further or deeper...that will be a plus...but for now, you've found a good friend and someone who shares your interests:p

Have fun!::yes::

Lol, "the pros and cons of marrying a doctor."- Yes, you will be the first one I'll ask if it gets that serious!:sunny:

Mal- I am a little worried about the WDW thing! I'll try to ask him about that soon.:D

mickey4ever- So true, people have to be friends first before all of the heavy stuff. The other person has to share my interests, and also have enough interests of their own. I don't think I'll have a problem with that in this case. We both seem pretty independent. :D

Good Luck Minnie! Just go with the flow, have a good time and see what developes. It doesn't have to be love at first sight for everything to work out in the end. :)

Thanks Nuke! I've always liked reading your posts! Hope you post more!:sunny:

I don't know if I've ever had love at first sight with anyone? Maybe I'm too much of a cynic for that.

When he said goodbye to me yesterday, we spent about 5 hrs. togethor, he gave me a huge hug and kissed my cheek. It's always so awkard, those goodbyes....at first. I can't believe that I'm talking about this on here.:earseek: It is kind of exciting to be starting up something potentially new........:sunny:

Thanks for the support you guys! I've never used this smilie before, but I wanted you to know how much I appreciate the kind thoughts!

MP, this post just made me smile...

What a great man he seems to be! To work with geriatric patients requires care and PATIENCE, as I truly know, and I admire anyone who chooses it as their field. It really takes special people to do this.

May God continue to bless you. You are a kind and unselfish person who only deserves the very best!

If you were my DD asking me this, I'd say "He's nice, and he's a doctor? HE'S THE ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" But that's just me;) :teeth:

:D MG!

My DH left for work at 6:30 this morning and I'm waiting for him to come home for dinner still. Not a complaint, just a reality of life after 25 years of being together, lol. But so worth it if it's the right person. :)
