My dad passed away

I do understand losing parents, my mother died in april of 1996 and five months later my father died. They were good parents that did and gave to their children having one son myself and a daughter. My parents were married 54 years and never have i ever heard them argue about anything. I must say my mother ran the roost. After my mothers death my fathers heart was broken and there was nothing we could do or say to change how he felt. A few days after my mom passed my father said to me that he is ready and wants to go with my mom. I tried to give my dad many reasons why he must live on, and he gave me one answer, i miss your mother and i want to be with her, we love each other and must be together. From that time until he died his heart was broken. After his death we new at last he was happy, and united with mom.

Sorry for your loss. Good to hear all of his daughters were there for him. He lives on through you and your children. Best Wishes
