My CVS is cutting their pharmacy hours!

I haven't had an issue. I did just put in a large, locking mailbox, and made sure the slot is big enough for all my meds to be put in. However, the last time the letter carrier did leave the package on the front step. I live in an area where every house has it's own mailbox on the street in front of your house.
You are fortunate. They even closed the slot where you could put out going mail. i would love my own mail box

Our CVS is 24/7/365, both the store and pharmacy part.
We've had long waits to fill scripts overnight also.

Sounds like that particular CVS is struggling, the chain as a whole is not.

I'd say ALL the CVS's here are struggling. Empty shelves, dirty stores. My insurance used their mail order pharmacy for a time, I suspect that end is doing well.

Our CVS has no problems with empty shelves OR dirty stores. It may well be a regional thing--and I don't mean that in the typical DIS way of "NJ does things differently than Oklahoma". It seems like experiences vary widely from individual store to store. Our current CVS is clean, well-lit, well-stocked, and comfortably staffed with pleasant, helpful people. I have been in ones that weren't (the one in downtown Schenectady, NY comes to mind--ugh!). It's important to note that our current city of residence is very up-and-coming--lots of new construction and expansion going on, and our CVS is right in the middle of that.

That is similar to our store. They even knocked out a corner last year and put a minute clinic inside. The issue is the store they built is really too small so they can't display more than a few items at a time. You have to ask for additional stock if there is a sale on something. A Walgreen was built directly across the street and doesn't do near the business that CVS does.
