I just finished Act 4 of Twelfth Night (Shakespeare - what else? :upsidedow ) and I have one scene left (Act 5 is all one scene). I LOVE this play and it may (though a comedy) surpass Hamlet and King Lear  For me, that is huge lol. I was actually laughing out loud reading it and it was just so much better than some other comedies such as A Midsummer Night's Dream. There is so much going on in the play and just how it pans out...ah...so good.

Well that is my current "obession". lol. It's bothersome too...I have no one to talk to about it with!! lol.

So, what are you currently "obsessed" with today? Perhaps there is some type of music you listen to over and over again until you drive your family OFF THE WALL -- or perhaps you can't get enough of a new item/toy/etc.? Whatever it may be...let out your excitement for it here whether you are able to openly talk about it or not. ;)

ETA: Good Lord! I had the thread title there and it was misspelled!! :scared1: LOL! No worries, I fixed it ;) lol.

i love shakesphere too! but my current obsession is taking back sunday. i love them. it drives my friends crazy.

I love Shakespeare! IMHO, nothing surpasses Hamlet.

Anyway, I've always been really into PotC. Always have been, always will be. Harry Potter is something else I'm a diehard fan of. I thought I was on just a fling for Naruto, but I've gotten really into it.

Hockey.
I'm in loveee with it.

and Paolo Nutini.

OoO Twelfth Night is my favorite Shakespeare play, followed closely by Hamlet and Macbeth. :)

My current obsession is (what else?) a Broadway show... Spring Awakening. omg so good. I haven't seen it yet, but I am going to see it (June 6th, I can't WAIT!). But yeah, the music is simply amazing. I can listen to "Don't do Sadness/Blue Winds" over and over and never get tired of it. :)

Hmmm, I'm not really obsessed with something right now. But I have been watching A LOT of Alias on DVD. I bought all the seasons and am watching them over and over again. It is where I got my whole "Imma spy" thing.

So I guess I'm a little obsessed with it. And plus Jennifer Garner is such a beautiful, talented actress.

.

That is what I have always thought and I think I may have to consider this not better, per se, but rather Hamlet's equivalent in comedy form Lol. I still consider Hamlet Shakespeare's best play and King Lear Shakespeare's best achievement ;)

Macbeth...another of my favorites! lol. I have been quoting that play recently pretty often also lol. Namely the "Out! Out! Damn'd spot! Out I say!" lol. Followed by the famous soliloquy, "Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow..."

However, I have been focused on the line "If music be the food of love, play on!" lol. (Twelfth Night) I am pathetic, eh? :upsidedow :rotfl:

I'm obsessed with Kenny Chesney because I'm going to his concert August 11th. After than I may stop with this obsessing. XD
