Has anybody purchased the My Cruise Photos package on a cruise? It seems a little pricey, just wondered if it was worth the price? Thanks!

"Worth it" is in the eye of the beholder. If you feel you're going to want professional photos taken during your cruise, packages are cheaper than individual prices.

If you're unsure, you can go ahead and purchase a package, and, if it seems like you aren't going to get enough photos to make sense for what you paid, then you can cancel the package. Just do it by the last full day of the cruise.

To answer the question - yes many people have purchased the packages over the years.

I have and in the end thought it was definitely worth it. We ended up with over a 100 pictures, but we did take pictures with characters before dinner most nights. We also used the many different backdrops that they had available in the main lobby each evening. I would pre-buy the package though before you board and you will save $50. We went with the package where we got all the photos instead of the CD because I wanted the hard copies. I think either package is worth it, but it is expensive no doubt about it!

Thanks! I am planning on going ahead and getting it. Just wanted to make sure there were enough photo opportunities during the cruise.

Totally worth it! I would decide early if your going to take pictures, and then seize every opportunity to get photo taken (i.e with characters, formals and etc). Go to as many photo booths as possible and get your moneys worth. I know we did. Our photo's were so large they have to put them in 2 folders. This time we're going, we're just going to get the CD without the prints.

What about on a 4 night cruise?
Is there enough opportunities to make the package worth it?
Also if someone chooses to not get the package can individual photo's be bought on board? or is the package the only option?

I pre purchased the photos plus cd package for a 7 night last year, totally worth it...in fact, too many pictures. Soooo, this year on our 4 day I only pre purchased the cd because I only need a couple 8 x 10 or 5 x 7s, but like to fill photo albums for my kids with 4 x 6s and then make my own photo book. For my 2 night er this week, Disney wants the same $ as the 4 night, so I don't think I'll get as many pictures, especially since my kids won't be cruising with me. We'll see if I regret it.
