My CRT Reservation is Wrong! What would you do?

I'm back from our trip and just wanted to update everyone and let you know that we didn't get any help with our situation. CRT was booked solid for the entire week and we were told there was no chance of us getting in any day at any time for any meal. The attitude was basically oh well that's too bad, better luck next time.

The rest of the trip, however, went off without a hitch. Thanks again to everyone that lent me their ear!
 
I called for reservations on the very first morning I could. I did not get some of them that I wanted..But for the most part got decent reservations. The CM made ADV for us on the Day (approx 1 hour after) my daughter is having her Bippity Boppity Boo at MK. Everything was set and when I called to just verify all reservations (we check in on Thanksgiving) I was told that the Crystal Place Breakfast that was scheduled for right after the daughters appoint at 9am for the boutique was actually for the day before it.....Uggh.
Basically the CM doubled booked us on one of the days we are there with 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners.

The CM I spoke to the other day (when we just realized what happended) said she could clearly see that there was a mistake made on the day I called as why would I reserve all 4 ADV on one day. She was very pleasant even put me on hold for awhile to see if there was anything she could do. No dice.....

My daughter is so disappointed..so I hear what you are saying.
This is just a reminder to everyone to check and double check and check and check. Mistakes Happen that can not be fixed.

Although that is the worst of it...Bippity, Boppity with no Character Meal after....the other ressie was Ohana and now I definetly have to keep that for the wrong day they gave me and reschedule (not happening) the lunch and late dinner we were suppose to do at HS.

I am sure these situations are the exception and not the norm, but it sure sounds like Disney is starting to lose the "Magical Experience" attitude for disney dining.
I am sure they hear lots of stories, and often can do nothing to help, but it sounds like they just don't care, and that is sad. What has always made Disney such a magical experience was their caring and helpful approach.

Hey CRT manager, how about taking the lady's cell number and calling her if you have a no-show.... even if it doesn't work at least try something. Sad... very sad
 

In situations like this there are only two options: keep it, which doesn't sound like a good option, or cancel and rebook it. You can try to tell Disney it's their fault the wrong day was reserved, but if there really is no availability that isn't going to open up a slot on the day you want, since they won't bump someone else to accommodate you even if it was Disney's fault the reservation was made incorrectly.

All one can do is keep checking themselves for an opening on the correct day.
 
Gosh...This is so tough. I'm really sorry nobody took the time to really show that they cared about your situations, that would have been better than nothing. On the other hand, at that point, Disney can't kick other people out of the restaurant if it is completely booked up. But, it would have been nice of them to actually show they cared, even if they couldn't get you into CRT.
