My cousin is home from Iraq

My cousin has been in Iraq since January. There were rumors that he would be home soon. He is. He came home very early this morning. He is safe and home. What more can we ask for?

My brother, he is a Marine. Came home this past April on Good Friday. I am glad that he is home safe and I pray that they all come home safe and soon.

Give him lots and lots of hugs and give him time, the adjustment is still hard for my brother.

They're pulling guys out of here left and right. The commercial planes land out here, loadup, and pull right back out....at least once a day.

All of us are just patiently waiting on our trips home

I see you're in Al Asad. My grandson just got re-assigned there from Ramadi. I guess the Marines refer to Al Asad as "cupcake" because it has fast food places, amenities they don't have in Ramadi. He's a Sgt. with an engineering company.

Oh yeah, it's definitely Camp Cupcake compared to Ramadi....

I did a stint in Fallujah in 2006.....this is definitely a step up...

Bucca last year wasn't bad...not great, but not bad either...

I'm guessing he's just waiting to jump on the Freedom Bird...good for him, I wish those guys well, and I know they're ready to get home
