I was wondering the same thing about the Eastern European Mushroom Eaters. My mother is Slovak, and she doesn't really care much for mushrooms.

Now potatoes...they're another story!!!!!

Might I ask which Eastern Eurpoeans? Russians or Poles, or maybe some other nationality? I have had a great many delicious Stroganoff with mushrooms, but I don't know a politically incorrect term for Russians, and I do know one for Poles.

And my in-laws are of Scottish descent and they LOVE mushrooms; my mom, who's parents were Hungarian/German (Gma) and Russian (Gpa), not so much.

My father is half Polish and I am a quarter. He HATES mushrooms and will not eat them any way shape or form. I like mushrooms. I don't know how that works using Miss Infos logic.

Well as for the nose picker... the clients just looked away. That's all you really can do. Everyday its something new. We try to "keep her" working with people in her old department but that doesn't always work.

My teams favorite story is the day we had an internal meeting and she had a plate with a bagel. She finished her bagel, then licked her fingers and cleaned off every crumb off the plate. She then licked her fingers to smooth her hair and eyebrows. Weirdest thing ever.

Monday, she screamed at me in front of everyone because I asked where her sample selection was. Then in the afternoon, a client caught her writing her initials and not paying attention during a meeting. They just stared and looked at me, since I am in charge on this project. I just gave them a smile like hey, its out of my control.

At LEAST that woman went into the bathroom to scratch, Disneygirl's coworker does things in PUBLIC that shouldn't have to be done anywhere!

Was the bagel her only meal that day that she had to lick her plate clean like that? I'm not sure who's worse anymore... her or MI. At least MI is funny. The other lady is disturbed.

Talking to her nephew in California. (On the company phone of course.) Keep in mind that she speaks loud enough for people 3 cubes over to hear her so I'm not eavesdropping.

Miss Info - What are you doing this weekend....THE MUSHROOM FESTIVAL!! WTH is that. Don't you know that only (insert derogatory names for people from eastern european block countries here) go to those sort of things?? Can't you find something else to do?

Miss Info - So have those fires started out there yet? Really? We haven't heard anything about them here. All they talk about here is the ones in Florida. And ya' know they're not on the coast or anything, there all over. I don't get why it hasn't rained in Florida. It all ways rains there.

More chatter and then an I'll call you again tomorrow and she hangs up.

I HAVE the EXACT same problem too!!!!! She sits right in front of me and I hear EVERY word she says. I swear she spends 3 hours of the day on the phone with who knows who. The pharmacy, her child's school, etc.... It's a never ending battle.

Yes, she does have big bushy eyebrows with out of control hair that hasn't seen a brush in months. Nope, she's just crazy. That's why she cleaned her plate. She loves licking those fingers, then touching things with them. I keep lysol wipes in my desk because she plays with things in my cube after her fingers are in her mouth. And she wonders why she's sick every day.

Goodness gracious. She gets worse and worse!! I admire you EG because I would have to smack her if I worked right next to her!! I can't even come up with the derogatory term she could have used!

I LOVE this thread! I've been trying to read through it for days.. but I have to add my own.

My old boss (he's since been transferred out to a BIGGER office?!) was not very technologically savvy at all. Once the assistant manager finally showed him how to use all the office equipment (including computer) he was faxing a paper on his own and even managed to figure it all out! Then, about two minutes later he comes flying across the office to his phone and frantically dials and says
"Hello, Yes, this is Mr. Me from *blah*blah* and I've just faxed you my original copy! I need you to send that back to me immediately!"
