My co-worker is a fountain of misinformation!! 5/14 the day has come page 130

We have gotten a defibrillator for our office, and a medical professional is offering training sessions for anyone who wants to be certified to operate it.

Coworker: Wow, how much does one of them things cost?

Trainer: Thirteen-seventy.

Coworker: No kidding! That's not much at all. I may get one to keep at my house.

Coworker #2: Uh, that's one thousand three hundred seventy dollars.

Coworker: ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY DOLLARS! Well, that's too rich for MY blood.

(Trainer and others in room stare at floor and try to keep a straight face)

I hope everyone had a good holiday weekend!!

Miss Info comes by today to ask what I know about Universal Studios.

Me - Not much I haven't been there in 10 years.

Miss Info - How can that be? You CLAIM you're all ways in Florida.

Me - When we go to Florida, we stay at Disney.

Miss Info - THE WHOLE TIME??? You need to get a life.

Me - Yep me and thousands of other Disney fanatics.

Miss Info - Oh please not that many people are into Disney.

Me :lmao:

She sat down and went to the Universal website.

Miss Info - "Oh please not that many people are into Disney." :rotfl2: OMG that is priceless! Just for kicks after she spits out one of her nuggets of knowledge I would just look at her dead serious and suggest she go on Jeopardy. She knows so much! But then again I bet no one really watches that show anyway!:rotfl:

Your response should have been, "at least I actually go where I claim to go." (Reminiscent of her fake trip to Vegas.)
I have a co-worker, male, who lives in a trailer, not that there is anything wrong with that, but when he went "on vacation" he litterally sat IN the trailer and Watched Movies on Demand for 5 days straight! He calls that a "vacation." He always says snide comments to me about WDW, and I have to tell him: "At least when I go ON VACATION its a REAL vacation, I don't sit in a trailer and watch TV!"

These are really funny for us to read, but if I were you I'd be at the end of my patience rope. She is downright rude and needs to be taught how to speak to people. "Oh please, not that many people are into Disney." You should have told her to she needs to get her information straight before opening her mouth because what comes out of it is absolutely ridiculous and ludicrously wrong.

What would be even funnier is if we could all email her individually to show her the amount of Disney fans there are! :rotfl:

LOL @ Universal in Orlando not even being on the list:

When Amusement Business magazine folded last year, many theme park fans wondered where we would be able to get a list of annual park attendance, since AB wouldn't be around to publish its annual list anymore. Well, AB's partner in producing that data, Economics Research Associates (ERA), has teamed up with TEA (formerly Themed Entertainment Association), to produce the TEA/ERA Theme Park Attendance Report.

As expected, Disney laid the smack down in 2006, posting strong attendance gains while Six Flags and Universal parks largely declined or remained flat.

Here are the world's top 10, for 2006:

  1. Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, 16.64 million, up 3 percent
  2. Disneyland, Anaheim 14.73 million, up 1.2 percent
  3. Tokyo Disneyland, 12.90 million
  4. Tokyo DisneySea, 12.10 million
  5. Disneyland Paris, 10.60 million
  6. Epcot, 10.46 million, up 5.5 percent
  7. Disney-MGM Studios, 9.10 million, up 5 percent
  8. Disney's Animal Kingdom, 8.91 million, up 8.6 percent
  9. Universal Studios Japan, 8.50 million
  10. Everland, South Korea, 7.50 million

"At least when I go ON VACATION its a REAL vacation, I don't sit in a trailer and watch TV!"
A friend of mine told a vendor that she was going to "Porchville" for her vacation. When she was off, I spoke to the vendor who said, "wow, it must be really nice that she got to go to Portugal." I laughed and told her that my friend was not in Portugal but in Porchville. She asked where that was. I asked her if she had a front porch and a back porch on her house. She said, "yes." So, I told her that she can go to Porchville, too. :rotfl:

Too bad you would "out" yourself if you sent her the link to this site. That would be an eye opener for her. Well, probably not!!

Please print this and stick it on her desk. BETTER YET, PUSH PIN IT TO THE BACK OF HER CHAIR. I am wanting to smack her upside her head right now. She is not only a moron but an extremely rude one at that. My evil other side would be proving her wrong at every turn. (Where is that sneaky evil smiley when you need one) :rotfl2:
