My Cinderella Dresses didn't get shipped and I leave on Tuesday!

I purchased some Cinderella dresses for my daughters from Ebay on Sept 30. The girl had really good feedback. Well not through any fault of hers Ebay didn't show the payment through PayPal. I contacted her last Wednesday (October 12) asking if something was wrong with my payment. She saw the same thing I did - Paypal showed a completed payment but Ebay didn't. She said that she would put it Priority Mail on Thursday (October 13) She is in the same state as I am so it should have been here the next day. Well my mail came today (October 15) and NO DRESSES! I emailed her and she replied back that the dresses got put in the wrong pile and HAVE NOT BEEN MAILED. She is going to ship them one day on Monday, but I leave at 8am on Tuesday.

I could drive down and get the dresses (if she would let me) but it is a 2 hour drive each way - I have a daughter in Kindergarten so I would have to leave at 6am to get her back in time for school. I leave piano lessons after school until 630pm so going after school I wouldn't get home until 1030pm

Or would it be better for her to mail them to POFQ. My Cinderella breakfast isn't until Monday October 24. Can I get mail at the hotel or would it get lost there too?

I am completely frustrated - this was supposed to be an easy part of my planning. I don't even know how much I need to hem my 19mo dress - she is really small for her age and the dress is made for a 1-3 year old.

Any ideas?

Sorry no advice--I'm the only person who hates ebaybecause I always get burned.

I do have a CIndy dress in size 3 that I can send you if it will help. You can PM me if you want.

I would have her mail them to POFQ. You won't get them in time for your trip otherwise.

How much of a deal did you get? For all this hassle and expense, it may be worth just asking her for a refund, then buying the dresses at regular price at WDW. Sounds like between gas prices and pulled out hair getting your dresses from this lady isn't worth it.

My first thought is to have them sent to your resort...and she should pick up the tab for a fed-ex overnight!

I would have them sent to the resort.. and let the resort know they are coming.. maybe whoever handles all the packages there... I would do this for sure... but ... I would also check into maybe just telling her to send you a refund and then you purchasing elsewhere!

Don't FRET ! Ask for a refund, and then do as another poster suggested and get them at Disney World, do you have a disney store in your area ? becasue I thought they were on sale right now at the stores ? If not there is one at the Florida Mall in Orlando , also if you order them online from Disney.com I think they will ship them to the resort for you.

Again don't fret there are many options for you.

I agree. Ask for a refund, and see if they are on sale at a Disney store. In our area, they are cheaper thatn on Ebay. If not, get them at WDW. This is way too stressful! to you

Agreed she made the mistake she should either send the refund or pay to have them over nighted to the resort!!! A good business person makes good on their mistakes.

Thank you all for letting me vent my frustrations. I am much calmer now! Why wouldn't I be - I leave for WDW in 8 hours!

I did get ahold of her before she shipped the dresses to my home. She is going to overnight them to my resort. I have let the resort know that they are coming, so I just pray that it works out. But if for some reason the dresses don't get there by Saturday, I am going to buy the dresses there and not think twice about it. I will just return the dresses that I ordered to her and ask a full refund and an apology.

A HUGE thank you to all of you that offered to send my your dresses, that was SO SWEET!

I'm off to the most magical place on earth - and there will be No worries!
