I'm curious why the kids are quiet though. LOL
If you can't talk isn't this the perfect opportunity for them to get into some LOUD mischief? After all, they can't actually HEAR you telling them to settle down.

Fascinates me too! Everytime I get laryngitis my kids seem to be quieter, at least for a bit. I think they like playing the game of mom whispering and using hand signs. And of course when I do speak it is definitely yelling!

Sounds like you got the same gift I got this year. (I'm battling bronchitis myself.) I wonder where the exchange line is?

I hope you get to feeling better soon. Hot tea helps the throat a lot. Herb or green tea is better than the regular kind.
