And didn't survive
Ugh, I am SO mad at myself! I just got this phone in Dec. To replace it w/ the same model will be $300 since I won't be a new customer/contract.
It went in the pool at about 1pm today. I keep trying to turn it on, but it's dead. Has anyone had a phone survive a dip in the pool before?
Update:
Well, this morning it would power on, but said "Service Required". We took it to the Verizon store & had a tech look at it. It's a goner for sure. It will power on, but won't make calls.
Being the man that he is, dh suggested I take his phone & he get a new one. That was fine w/ me. So, I have my cherished LG VX6000 & he got himself a LG VX7000.
I'm calling today to put insurance on both of them.
