I am so glad your kitty is safe and warm at home! I was very concerned. My childhood cat got out and was hit by a car and killed when I was only 13. I was completely devastated. Now that DH and I are proud parents of 3 cats, we are extremely watchful over them. I hope your furbaby has learned his lesson!

Make sure he doesn't try to sneak out now that you're making him an indoor cat!

My cat is such a baby, he'll sit by the door, put a paw out on the step and then dash back in the house!!

Max got out while we were on vacation. He does not like anyone but ppl in our immediate family... and he would sit on the pourch til our house sitter came over and then run off

Thankfully he was on the pourch when we got home.
