My cat is an elephant

Dustball, just ran through my house- from kitchen through dinning room, into living room, banked hard to the left, and into DD9's room.- I heard her land, so I'm guessing she jumped onto the bed, then back onto the floor...

while doing so, she shook my computer desk, my hutch, and my pictures on my entertainment center.

Could someone please explain to me how a 10lb cat can shake a house more than a 8 and 9 year old???

Oh wait- here she comes again.............gotta hold onto my coffee cup so it doesnt spill.

she's like a kid- her real name is dustball, we call her dusty, but when Im not happy with her actions, I use her full name....sort of like calling Dani, Danielle, she knows I mean business.

When the girls hear me say "dustball" they know she's gotten into something she shouldn't have!

We've got a female cat that weighs about 6 pounds. She is the LOUDEST thing I have ever heard. You always know when she's jumping and running.

I am cracking up just thinking about one of our cats when I was a kid. He sounded like a pony cantering around our downstairs from the kitchen to the living room to the family room and back to the kitchen in a ring. Used to drive my mother nuts!

I hear ya - our FL home is on a slab, and our two still sound like a herd of buffaloes during their daily play & chase. Millie (the spotted one built like a cement block) is 12 lbs. of solid muscle, so it's like bouncing a bowling ball through the house...
