I had such a great time this weekend! I wish I had taken more pictures but eh, it is what it is. I met great people, learned alot about myself, and really enjoyed myself.

Great report! I followed Bieber girl for a lot of the second 1/2 of the race, but lost her when I stopped to get a picture with the pirates.

I need to make a catchy shirt for the 1/2 and Full in January and see if I make it into anyone's race recaps. There were a lot of shirts that I thought about taking pictures of, but I felt dorky taking pictures of peoples shirts.

Great report! I liked the people whose shirts said "if you can read this, that means I'm not last." I giggled every time I saw one.

Congrats on a great race and a great report. I had to laugh at the parts about being an angry runner or a hateful runner. You're not alone. During one of my snow/slush romps a few weeks ago I got so frustrated that I just stopped, threw my arms up and in the air and let out a big AARRRGGGHHH!

And running does grow on you. Even now, I wouldn' say I "love" to run, but I know that it has gotten easier and faster as time goes by.

holy wow, I think we were probably sooooo close (I was in D also) because I recognize a LOT of people that I was following as well in your pics! I remember the Beiber girl and then in your pic at the start I recognize those two princess off to the left with the giant pink tiaras, lol GREAT blog!!!

there were some really great t-shirts! i tried to read them all to kill time!

Omg I love the post on your blog It was like running it again! (without all the pain and tutus). I finished a time close to you but I was in Corral B so I would have crossed the finish line first 2:22:43. I can't believe you carried a camera with you the whole time!! It took everything I had just to run the whole thing- I couldn't have carried a camera too!

The sad part is that I don't even remember lilo and stitch, and barely have a remembrance of those drum guys must have been that focus. I got confused about the Epcot ball too! I was thinking we were almost there. I also don't even remember seeing the castle because I was so focused on trying to find my mom in the crowd (who had gotten stuck on a monorail and didn't see me until mile 12!).

wow that's a great time! we are 2:22 twins! lol!!

i only had a little canon digi with me so it was very easy to carry. i actually didn't even notice it while i was carrying it! i thought i would but, like you, i was really just focused on finishing so i wasn't paying attention to it.

seeing your mom at mile 12 i'm sure was still totally worth it! i would have loved to see ANYONE i knew at that point!
