No chance could I bring myself to buy park tickets if I had an AP.

Listen to the radio non stop and try to win tickets. I win tickets pretty much every year for the last 8 years.

I probably wont tbh. Perhaps still stay at vdh for pool BBQ and watch the fireworks from Pixar pier pool terrace. Has anyone seen it from there? I wonder if its the same type of view at vgc

I play DVC slots also!

In October, we are leaving the guys at home and have us six ladies in a 2 bedroom at OKW. However all are staying four nights and then I had OKW studio booked for the remainder of the trip for my mom and me (6 nights).

Then, I saw I could get GFVs, Resort Studio/View. So I moved the studio part (the 6 nights) to GFVs with two nights WL (October 22 and October 23). I figured it is October, I have some time and always been good with staking. Yesterday I found out on FB that this was the RunDisney weekend! OMG

So, like you, I keep pulling the handle (I'm only concentrating on the GFVs Resort/Resort right now, even though one night popped up for preferred view) with a constant refresh happening alllll day. I've done this on a RunDisney week/weekend before and things will start to open up but this will make it just harder. I also don't like that I will need to be flying home that weekend since I've done before and I told myself I'm never doing again (but with the other ladies, I had to be more rigid with their dates since they needed for work).

Anyway, I'm happy to join you in your slot pull and hope we all come out winners!

At this point I’m looking for whatever I can get (although I am limited a bit by the points I have available to me), I’m concentrating on either a SSR resort-view studio or a AKL-J resort-view studio… with Jambo, I’m banking a bit on the refurb being far enough along that some studios get put back into inventory

I have one night booked so far at each resort (waitlists are in for the missing days as well), and will continue the obsessive stalking to pick up days as come available…

I was able to stalk and got one night needed of my last two (October 22-23) at GFVs Resort/Resort View.
I had a WL in for each night, but I was able to get it before my WL did. I booked and canceled my WL. Now just stalking and WL for October 23-24.
I will walk away from the game after that since I will then have the perfect upcoming trips for May and October with enough points for February to play the slots again!

Data point....I went on today to check for my missing 1 bedroom Resort View at VGF in December...I have been on a waitlist since the 11 month date.

Nothing has shown up at all...tonight, a Deluxe Studio Resort View shows up so I book that, figuring its our last night, moving from the 1 bedroom is not a huge deal and it will save me points! .Yes, , I am giving up RIV because my very dear friend wants VGF and we have done RIV the last several trips.

So, I book and cancel the waitlist....For the heck of it, I go back to check just to see if I did have a match that wasn't processed, and sure enough, I must have because it was now there!

Quickly went back in and modified the studio to get it...now have all 4 nights in the 1 bedroom. Who knows how long it has been sitting there matched, waiting for processing.

Its why I wish they would find a way to let us know we have a match pending....

ETA: But I also think it shows that sometimes the night we might find stalking that is the same as our waitlist very well be an additional one and the waitlist actually did work.

Glad you got what you needed. I do think they should add that the best round of updates. Fingers crossed they add it one day.

MS doesnt particularly like it when you ask for an update either and tell you that they will tell you when it matches. I did ask once when I was going for a vgf studio and there was indeed a match without them having processed it yet !

I am just proactive when I ask....I just say "Can you just check my waitlist? I know that it has to be processed by a CM after it matches, but before I cancel it, I want to be sure that I dont' have a match waiting".

That is def better than just asking if it matched yet. I kind of want to cancel what I have now and go for something else but if it matched then id like to know before I do that
