My birthday is coming up....man, I'm getting old...

I wish I was old like you, try I turned 50 today.

But to celebrate, I got a new kitty, and tomorrow was are going to the Seneca Niagara casino.


Oh no, I am old!!!! Cats and casino gambling. And not to mention I got a subscription notice to the AARP

Since I turned the big 4-0 this year, I flew to Orlando and spent the day at WDW with my best friend. (I did wait until a few days after my b-day cause I wanted to celebrate the actual day with my family) It was a short trip, but a fabulous way to celebrate.

I wish I was turning 26 but alas I turned 42 today. Yikes!! I don't feel nor do I act that old. I guess having young kids will do that to you LOL.

I mentioned this on another thread but dh is doing some home remodeling projects for me for my birthday. Other than that we really arent doing anything. We went out to dinner last night to celebrate both our birthdays as mine is today and dh's is Monday.

I always work on my birthday, it is Sept. 24th -- day after Bruce Springsteens! I work in a school, so the teachers will get me a cake and we'll eat in the staff room on our quick 30 min. lunch break. Then I"ll come home to field hockey or soccer practice. It's jus the same old, same old! BTW Happy Birthday -- you are still a youngster.

Mountaineer!!!! I too have my son convinced that I'm 27, and I'll be 33 on 10/16!!

I think age is a state of mind. I feel like a 22 year old kid most of the time!! This year for the first time ever I'll be spending my birthday at WDW. I can't think of a better way to celebrate!

Um, no, you are not getting old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I think I know what you are saying....you are on the other side of the 20's now. I'll be 33 on my next bday; nothing to complain about (yet).

For birthdays we almost always go to Benihana's for DH's bday and either Chevy's, Chilis or TGIFriday's for my day. And when my mom is up visiting she makes me dessert.

Dunno what I will do next year, as DH will be gone for both of our days and I will probably only be a month or so post-partum...take out maybe! I have a long time to decide.

My birthday is Oct. 5. I always take my birthday off. I have the day off this year. I usually go out to eat. Sometimes I treat myself to a manicure and pedicure. I will be 33 this year.
