My birthday is coming up....man, I'm getting old...

I turn 32 in October and we are having an old-fashioned slumer party! Complete with movies, truth or dare and lots of JUNK food! I can't wait, my friends and I are already planning. I'll also be celebrating my newfound freedom as my divorce will be final by then.

I will be 42 in 4 days. I used to take the week of my birthday off because I figured how could you celebrate all that fabulousness in one day

Now I work it because I have to take time off during school vacations and for those dreaded 1/2 days and teacher enrichment days...in addition to vacation for us days. Typically my family stops by and we cook a big meal, have a nice blueberry pie with a candle in it (I make it...I love pie!), and enjoy a quiet day.

Well I was planning a trip to WDW for my birthday until yesterday. My daughter informed me she will be in Miami for my birthday and a concert. Guess that lets Disny out. Hum maybe my 39th anniversary.

Steph 26 is not old. You are younger than my oldest daughter by a few months. She turned 26 in May.

I have my son convinced I'm 28 - that's what he tells everyone- but my family all know I'm really 33. I don't care to tell people how old I am, I'm thankful for every day I get. It just turned into a joke between dh and me but I guess I will admit to being 34 in October.

This year for my birthday, which isn't until 10/4, I am taking the day for myself. I will start with getting my hair highlighted, then onto have my nails done, out to lunch with my sisters and then to the spa for a well deserved massage.

For me, that is heaven

I have never worked on my birthday, and probably most of you haven't either!

My birthday is Dec 25th and I am turning 35. I have not ever done anything special on my birthday... its kinda gets out shined by something else that is going on that day.

I'll be 26 on October 18th! Closer to 30 than 20 now.

Last year for my birthday, DS was only 3 1/2 months old. He spent the weekend with my mom so that DH and I could enjoy dinner, a movie, and sleeping in! It was great! This year, she'll probably offer to do that again (any excuse to babysit!), but I'd also like to do a family trip to the zoo. I love the zoo.

Funny you should ask! For my friend PixieMagic's birthday on 9/8 we're going to WDW and staying at AKL! Just think, several days a week you get to do what we travel a gazillion miles to do! (OK, I know, you're working....we'll be laying by the pool )
