My bearded iris (Updated with new pics...including mystery iris)

I planted two last year and this one seems to be the lone survivor. The top bloom was knocked off by my renegade rose bush. I went out today and it took my breath away....

I think I need to move my Siberian Iris as they are too much in the shade and have never ever bloom. I hope to do that by next weekend.

Mary the flower is breathtaking. I also love Iris's I only wish they bloomed longer. You wait a whole season for 2 weeks of bloom.

I am not a specialist but I don't think this is a Bearded Iris.

When I look at the stalks of the Iris they seem to bend. Does the Iris flower have three petals with fur near the throat?

About the bearded part....that's what the package said. I have the smaller iris varieties and they should be blooming soon.

Heather shame on Mamu the first is a bearded iris. Again it lovely! The second looks like a siberian iris.

Lets hope I'm not 0 for 2 or I'll be banished from the H & G.

No worries! They're all irises!

I've got some Dutch (I think) irises getting ready to bloom soon. They're purple with the yellow stripe or tear drop on them.

Beautiful beautiful beautiful!!!! I love beardeds! I planted several of those and several Dutch iris this year, and their leaves have shot up, but no sign of stalks yet let alone blooms.
