My Baby's graduating from Preschool!!!!!

We just got his pictures back yesterday! A blue cap and gown with a "library books" background. His little hand is acros his chest and he is gripping a little diploma. He came out sooooo adorable!!! In his class picture he is one of the tallest (I was always the shortest).


His graduation is June 4th at 7pm
Class trip to waterpark on June 5th
Last day of school party -June 6th

He will be attending Kindergarten-12th grade at Nova, which is a university school (public) and an "A" rated school (which is hard to come by in FL). I had to put him in the lottery a few months ago. We went to the orientation and "WOW" is all I can say about this school. Max 23 kids in a class, 2 computer labs, huge science room, huge classrooms with full kitchens. I will be going to school right next door (getting my masters in elemetary ed).

Anyone else sending babies off to kindergarten?

My third DD (and last) will be graduating Pre-school June 13!! She will be attending the local elementary school in September with her big sister who is going into 2nd grade. There older sister will be in 7th in the Middle School............YIKES!!

I did want to say Hi though..I used to live across the street from Nova Even dated a guy who went there in high school...

My youngest(DD/) will be starting Kindergarten this fall. She will be joining her big brother who will be in the 2nd grade and her big sis, who will be in the 8th grade. It seems like only yesterday I was taking my oldest to Kindergarten!!!!!!!

Their school is K-12, so I am excited that they will all finally be in the same place with the same schedules every day! I will only have one place to drop off and pick up each day!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations! Enjoy them while they are young. My oldest baby is graduating in the top 10% of his high school senior class. The real baby will be a freshman in high school next year. Boy I feel old!

My dd "graduated" from Pre-K yesterday. They had a little program where they showed us what they had learned this year and at the beginning of the program my dd led the Pledge to the Flag. She stood up and said "Ladies and Gentlmen will you please stand and put your hand over your heart as we say the Pledge of Allegience to the Flag" I did NOT know she was going to do that.She or her teacher never told me that!!! I was so proud!!!

Awwww thats so sweet. I remember way back when my dd's graduated preschool. Cherish those moments.. soon they will be all grown up and almost ready to graduate college!

Yep, my DD 5yo, will be starting Kndg in late August. She's staying in the same school as her Pre-K was in so, that's nice. It's the new 'full-day' schedule I'm not looking forward to! I miss my baby!!

i have my daughter promoting from Kinder to 1st grade on june 4th and my son graduating from Pre-K to Kinder on june 11th...they grow up so fast don't they??? we were watching home videos the other night of them at their christenings and when they first started talking/walking and such and i'll tell you it brough tears to my eyes.

WOW, my oldest is going to 5th grade and the youngest is promoting from Kindergarten to 1st grade. I can't wait , and neither can she, kindergarten is not as challenging now....she needs more challenge, even the counselor told me that. If she continues to do the same way next year, they may consider placing her in the advanced first grade group, we'll see how she does.

My dd graduated from preschool last week. She also had pictures made at school with the little blue cap and gown. Adorable!! This is a big moment in their lives! She would start kindergarten tomorrow if they let her!

Just wanted to throw this out there:

My sister's sister-in-law had a daughter from a previous marriage and then two little ones from her persent marriage. A few years ago she had one daughter graduating high school and the other one just starting Kindergarten at the same time!!!

My baby is finishing preschool this year too! She is SO excited about going to BIG SCHOOL next year! My others will be 7th, 5th, and 3rd grade next year. Hard to believe how time flies! I have heard Nova is a great school. There really are lots of good schools in Florida, I think they get a bad rap. We lived in Jacksonville for many years. They have a great magnet school program and 2 high schools rated tops by Time Magazine! We were sorry to leave our schools their. Our district here has good schools also, but I felt the gifted program in Jacksonville was better. You could never tell the people here that though, they think everything in the south is BAD. I do like moving and meeting new people though. We are all alike in so many ways!!!

You have no idea how fast! My "baby" was 35 years old in August. I don't know how she got to be so old---I don't feel old enough for her to be 35! My older one is 37!
