My baby is HUGE!

I took Jacob to the doctor today for his 2 month well-baby exam. He's exactly 8 weeks old today, and he weighs 13 lb 4 oz. He was only 6 lb 9 oz at birth, so he's already doubled his birth weight! He has a very long torso and is already wearing 6-9 month sized clothes. At this rate, I think he'll pass up all 5 feet 2 inches of me by the time he's around 7.

I know the feeling, my DS did the same thing. He started wearing 6-9 months before he was even 3 months old. He was long and chunky and he grew fast. He was only 6lbs 5oz when he was born and now look at him:

They just grow up way too fast

I got on healthtex site and got some of the fall and winter clearance outfits for a good price and my unborn baby grandson will be born around the first of june.....I did get all the 6-9 month outfits .....and one 12 month outfit......so hopefully they will fit any chubby cheek baby that comes along-----in september and after.....

It does sound like you're growing a big one!!
My oldest DS weighed 9 lbs at birth and 18 lbs at his 6 week checkup. He just kept growing!
He's 24 now, 6'5" and 230lbs and size 14 shoe.
