My Baby Girl Is Turning 13-Time For Another Mom/Daughter WDW Trip!!

That Kim Possible mission looks like so much fun, even for two old geezers like us.

Ok, you asked for pics and you got em!! My girls saw the 3D movie no less than 5 or 6 times....they are insane.
Here are a couple of her senior pics taken with her Jo Bros stuff....she is truly obsessed...

I am totally loving your trip report!! :goodvibes

Thanks Michelle!! You've given my oldest ideas for her senior pictures. (I am the one taking them)

The Kim Possible missions look interesting. Its a must do now lol:lmao:great update can't wait to hear more.

ITA about the KP mission! We did like 5 missions while we were there, but we never did the UK - it is seriously one of the best Disney creations in a long time!

May I steal Lauren's cool outfits? :rolleyes1

That's what I was thinking! She is always so stylin'. :thumbsup2

Great update Cammie! Reading your posts always make my day. Dh and I did the Kim Possible Mexico mission (started in Norway). It was cool, but I would have preferred to be outside in the sun! I want to try the Great Britain mission. That looks great!

I can't wait to hear about your Tutto dinner. DH and I are thinking about trying it during Free Dining.

DH and I were there a few weeks ago and saw lots of families on their Kim Possible missions. It looks like so much fun...kind of like "The Amazing Race". Did Lauren get to complete a mission in each country?

LOL. It was pretty funny when we were there too. There were groups of people huddled around cell phones! And yes, we completed all seven missions. The only countries that don't have missions are: Amercia, Canada, Italy, and Moracco - although a CM told us he thinks Moracco will be the next country to get one.

Wow...great update! DD & I just read your latest chapter and we ALL ABOUT that Kim Possible mission. How fun is that??? :cool1: DD is excited that she will get to have a cell phone....at least for a little while!

DD wants me to tell you and Lauren that she is SO JEALOUS because you got to meet Eeyore! That is her favorite character! Anyway, she'll get to meet all the Pooh characters on our trip in May, as we will be having breakfast at Crystal Palace one morning. :thumbsup2

(I think I am as excited about the Kim Possible thing as DD is!!)

Definitely put the Kim Possible thing on your list Alan! Your DD, and the rest of your family will love it! I think our favorite missions were in England and Germany. We had the hardest time in France but they had some really cool things there.

Yay! Love the new installment! Kim Possible looks so much fun!!! I can't wait! I didn't know aout having to find special CMs - how funny!!

Now only to you have to find them, but you have to whisper some crazy phrase too!

New installment:cool1:

I LOVE lauren's EPCOT shirt:)

Off -Kilter:cool1: LOVE THEM:) My dad and cousin actually got into a fight about them our last trip. My cousin was making fun of them so my dad started going on and on about how good they were:rotfl:

Yes, Lauren loves that shirt also. She wears it all. the. time! And Off-Kilter -- one of my faves! Lauren is never too happy having to stop and listen though so I don't think I"ve ever sat through a whole show!

Wow, Cammie! I'm glad I read all about the KP missions... I kind of knew about them, but not the particulars.

I will have to schedule a lot more time in WS this year... I will have two thirteen year old girls with us and I think they will get hooked!!!

pixiedust: for the JB meet & greet!

Kathy

Thanks for the pixiedust Kathy! We could use all we can get. And definitely try the Kim Possible thing. The girls will LOVE it!

Isn't the Kim Possible thing fun? I did it with my sister-in-law and my 6 year old nephew. We did China and England. It really does show you things you might just walk by and not even notice. We didn't finish England though. We passed the phone and my nephew off to my brother and my son who had just met us at Epcot after watching something at ESPN the weekend at DHS. Sis-in-law and I didn't want to miss Off Kilter! Love them!

We completed all the missions but I'm told when we go back that the goal of the mission is always the same but the way to accomplish them changes. So there is no fear of repeating and seeing the same things. So cool!

Hi Cammie,
I just came across your trip report and am enjoying it!! I just caught up and am ready for more. You are so lucky to have a wonderful daughter to share a great birthday trip with!

Thanks for joining in and I'm glad you're enjoying it!

May I steal Lauren's cool outfits? :rolleyes1

Congrats on the JoBro tix! I'm going with my best friend to their July 18 show in Boston :teeth:

I''l pass on your compliment to Lauren about her clothes!:goodvibes And congrats on your tix, fellow Mass. JB fan! I'm sure you'll have a great time! July 18th is my birthday and Lauren thought that would have been a good present for me but I already have tix to see Elton John and Billy Joel that night. Yes, I"m just going to be a concert-going freak that weekend!

Cammie our concert is for August 15 in New Orleans

Congrats on your tix also! I'm thinking I may need to keep this thread going until the end of the summer so we can all come back here and post our pix and experiences from each of our shows!:thumbsup2

Cammie, great update!

My DH is such the Kim Possible fanatic and I know he is looking forward to the Kim Possible adventures... I am so glad to hear you had fun with that. I am sure we will be doing more than once.

You guys will really enjoy it! And good thing is you can do them over and over again and it's supposed to be different each time.

Cammie - great TR! You and your daughter are adorable. And you are very lucky that you two are able to share such a wonderful time together! My girls are looking forward to the Kim Possible missions when we go to EPCOT in June. Thanks for sharing a little bit about them. They look pretty fun.

Can't wait for the next installment!

Aw - thanks!:goodvibes And yes, I'm thankful that Lauren enjoys hanging out with me - we have a good time together. And I'm sure you and your girls will love the KP experience. Very cool attraction!

Ok, you asked for pics and you got em!! My girls saw the 3D movie no less than 5 or 6 times....they are insane.

They actually got to meet Mrs. Jonas last night and said she was amazing and so sweet. Alyssa thanked her for raising such wonderful boys and told her that their music has helped her through some rough patches in her life (we are ex military so she went to 3 different high schools). She also said Mrs. J noticed her "little bit longer" necklace that the proceeds went to diabetes research and she thanked Alyssa for that.

That is so cool that she got to meet her! Not surprised to hear how nice and sweet she is - I hear the same thing about her boys!

Here is a picture of Alyssa with her Meet and greet wristband.

jobros2.jpg

I can just feel her excitement!

Here she is with Big Rob....notice major crazy eyes!!

jobros.jpg

Aaah yes, I see the crazy eyes!:lmao:

And here she is with the boys!! She actually barely remembers Nick and Kevin since she is a Joe fan and said she shook Nick and Kevin's hands and then asked Joe for a hug which she got! :goodvibes She said Kevin was so sweet.

jobros1.jpg

Oh my - a hug from Joe? How was she able to function after that? I seriously think if Lauren is lucky enough to get a hug from Nick, she wouldn' be able to walk afterwards! That is a really cute pic, btw.

Here are a couple of her senior pics taken with her Jo Bros stuff....she is truly obsessed...

Thanks so much for sharing Michelle. First of all, your daughter is beautiful! Seeing her excited face for the meet and greet has got me wishing it really happens for Lauren. It would be a memory she would treasure for the rest of her life! And what a cool idea for her senior pics!

Now you KNOW you're going to have to post your finished product, right?

The Kim Possible missions look interesting. Its a must do now lol:lmao:great update can't wait to hear more.

ANOTHER must-do!

ITA about the KP mission! We did like 5 missions while we were there, but we never did the UK - it is seriously one of the best Disney creations in a long time!

Can you imagine four crazy ladies attempting to do this together?

That's what I was thinking! She is always so stylin'. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the compliment!:goodvibes France's mission takes place entirely outside and it's the one we spent the most time on. It was a cool one though.

Thanks to the US Army my son in laws R&R from Iraq got changed (for the third time.) So instead of going in May we had to scramble to change everything from May to EASTER!!!:scared1::confused: This of course didn't happen until 10 days ago. Believe me things have not been fun or happy at my house recently.
Everything is in place now pretty much though.
Waiting to hear about Tuttos!!
Good luck on the meet and greet, that would be spectacular!!
I'm happy to hear Amanda is better!!

The Kim Possible mission looks like so much fun! I really wish we had taken the time back in January to experience it...hopefully in December.

When do you find out about the possible JB meet & greet? I really, really hope it works out-I want to see those pics! :rotfl:

I'm not Mass, but close enough! (RI) Elton John and Billy Joel, what an exciting combination!

Hey! I was over here a loooong time ago but I've been MIA for a long time. Now I'm all caught up!

The AI Experience looks AWESOME! I didn't get a chance to do it on my trip but I will definitely try to make it there next time. How long was the show?

Also, those FP's are awesome! One time a CM heard my friend and I talking about how our plane was delayed and we got off to a late start. We were upset that we'd probably miss out on some of the bigger attractions since we weren't there earlier enough to get a FP. He came over and walked us to Guest Services and gave us those same certificates! AWESOME!!

And as far as the JoBros go - that's awesome! I was obsessed with Hanson, NSYNC, and O-Town. I never met NSYNC but I swear if I did I would probably pass out! Even today - if I saw one of them (which I did last week at Crystal Palace!) - I would freak out!! That's so exciting. I remember when O-Town (weren't that big, but still - I love them!) played at a small venue where my dad knew someone who got us backstage passes. My dad totally tricked my friends and I and made us wait in the general admission line with everyone else before he said for us to follow him because we were going to meet OTown! I was SHAKING! I can't even imagine how excited Lauren would be and I can't wait to hear about what happens!!! Good luck, I really hope she gets to meet them!!

Hi Sunnie,
I'm so sorry your SIL's plans were changed. My thoughts are with your family and all service people's families.

Make sure you tell the Disney people about this being your SIL's R&R. You never know, there might be some extra magic. Have a great trip and great job getting everything ready in such short notice!

Hey, Cammie-I have read your other reports and am subbing to this one. I can't wait to read more. I hope to one day do solo trips with each of my three daughters-maybe when they turn 13! :)

Thanks so much for sharing Michelle. First of all, your daughter is beautiful! Seeing her excited face for the meet and greet has got me wishing it really happens for Lauren. It would be a memory she would treasure for the rest of her life! And what a cool idea for her senior pics!

I was talking to DD18 about her meet and greet, and telling her about your daughter hopefully getting to meet them. She told me that she totally went blank when Joe's arms went around her. :rotfl: But she still says it was amazing!

Here's my youngest DD at Hollywood Studios during Spring Break in front of the Famous Jo Bros sign!

I was talking about me & DH silly, he is a senior citizen......:lmao:

Well, I still say - who you calling "old geezers?" I met the two of you, and I don't care how old you are, neither one of you look like an old geezer to me!;)

Thanks to the US Army my son in laws R&R from Iraq got changed (for the third time.) So instead of going in May we had to scramble to change everything from May to EASTER!!!:scared1::confused: This of course didn't happen until 10 days ago. Oh Sunnie - so sorry about the need to change your plans. I'm glad to hear you'll all still be able to get there though. Here's some pixiedust: hoping that everything now goes according to plan! You and your family definitely deserve a wonderful trip together considering all the sacrifices you have made. A BIG thank you to all of you!:)

The Kim Possible mission looks like so much fun! I really wish we had taken the time back in January to experience it...hopefully in December.

When do you find out about the possible JB meet & greet? I really, really hope it works out-I want to see those pics! :rotfl:

Oh don't worry - I will CERTAINLY be posting pix if the meet and greet happens. I have no idea when I'll find out. My friend says he will talk to his friend when he takes a break from bodyguarding the boys and comes home for a visit. I'll keep everyone posted though.

AFTER partaking of some adult beverages in World Showcase!!!! :rotfl2:

:thumbsup2:rolleyes1

Allright girls, we'll need pics....;)

Hmmm - not so sure I want evidence of this floating around!

I'm not Mass, but close enough! (RI) Elton John and Billy Joel, what an exciting combination!

Then I shall call you a fellow "New England" JB fan!:thumbsup2 And yeah, I hear those two old geezers (I'm using this word alot in this post) put on a pretty good show together.
