From reading the post here it seems everyone is pretty serious in the dieting. I tried Atkins in Sept of 02 and was on it until Oct of 02 and noticed very little change. I went off the diet for the holidays, but still watched my carb intake whenever possibe. I also switched my birth control pill. I restarted the diet in late Feb this year. I was 170 pounds when I started, today I am down to 145. I cant believe it. I never really went through the full Atkins plan, like checking my sugars or anything, I just was catious of my carb intake, and drank tons of water and began doing situps and the excercise bike. I am proud to have lost the weight, and have another 10-15 pounds to go to get to my "goal" weight. If I continue what I am doing, I feel I can do it. It is the greatest feeling in the world to fit into clothes( and still have extra room) that you havent worn in almost 2 years
