DD who has Aspergers allowed me to take her to Universal last week. She did not get on any rides but had a great time playing in the play areas. The staff at the Dr Seuss play area kept commenting how lucky she was to have the whole area to herself. We went between 7 and 10 PM when the park was a bit quieter. She has an annual pass there so it does not worry me to just go in for a bit.

I wont buy her an annual pass to Disney because she hates the rides so strongly. Also the crowds are always rougher at Disney. Since I only get her on school breaks for now It is just not worth it.

I hope that some day she will break through her issues enough to enjoy the rides again. Untill then this was a big step forward for my little cutie pie.

Glad to hear you came up with something that she enjoys. A good reminder that evenings are often slower; many families are up early to get to whatever park they go to and don't stay at the park in the evening.
