MY ADVENTURES N WALT DISNEY WORLD, UNIVERSAL STUDIOS & OTHER ASSORTED SILLINESS TRIP REPRT; APRL '16

I'm thinking of giving my son a VIP tour at Universal for his birthday/elementary school graduation when he turns 10 next year and we go to Universal. Do you think it's worth it (if we're staying on-site and will have express passes anyway)? I hear you get to see some backstage stuff?

at the costs for the vip tours, i don't think so.
you have to have a day park ticket and the price of the tour per person, which can add up for a family.

you do get info on UO background of the parks, rides, etc.from the tour guide.
you do get to see some of the areas that others do not see in the parks.

since you have the hotel perk of unlimited express pass, you do have access to all the rides/shows that have the ep line.

for the rides that do not have express, the tour could include them in the vip experience.

if money is no object, and you want this to be a fantastic graduation present for your son, then that would be a good reason to go with the vip tour

i could reason it either way of do it or don't do it.

Tough question - AFter thinking about it for a bit, I would say YES:smooth:.....once he is a little older. Reason: The expense.:crazy2:

Just an idea:idea:: Plan for this as his High School Graduation or......?

Ex: I talked to a very nice lady a few years ago whose daughter had a freakin' ZERO golf handicap (played for Ohio State golfing team) and suggested to her to book her daughter a stay at one of our hotels, "Mount Juliet" (hotel in Kilkenney Ireland) IF her daughter got a certain GPA. Well sure enough, few months later, she spoke with me and thanked me for the kind suggestion as yes, the daughter hit that GPA the MOM wanted and viola!

The daughter got to enjoy a rare treat to play golf on a really cool golf course over in Ireland:)
(and a nice 7 night stay there along with a spa retreat to boot) -
