My adventures in babysitting!

hey guys!!
I told some of yall I would post about it! hehe

well I supposed to watch 13 kids 2day...well only 10 showed and I had another girl help.
well we were ok until 3 girls started yelling at the boys next door and I told them to stop yelling and they didnt! so we all had to go inside....they were running and screaming around the house...i was yelling shut up at the top of my lungs!!! i was soo mad!

so we had a meeting in the gameroom and they said they were calm down..they did then starting screaming again so we had another meeting! this time they really calmed down after I threatened(for the 2nd time)to stick them in corners for over an hour until their parents came and how i was going to get them in trouble with their parents. well they finally calmed down! thank the lord!!

well we had cookies and lemonade then eat chips and cheese with apple juice...all I told their parents were everyone was wild but then calmed down...I will probably continue to work for this bible study(but it interfers with the other church meeting ppl want me to work at!! ahhh!! babysitter in demand!! LOL )

and also we( the girls) put make-up on each other! lol...i look like a 7-year-old put make-up on me...which she did!! LOL

so all in all it was an interesting night!! hehe...me and the other girl both got $23 dollars out of it...not bad at all.

so this weekend I earned 23+16=39 bucks babysitting..and last night i mostly studied!! hehe

Yeah, it definately sounds like you earned that $23.

I was babysitting Saturday night, only 5 kids though. They wanted to watch some movie with a dog in it. I let them, because it was a kid's movie, so I thought it would only be about an hour long. Wrong. It lasted 2 and a half hours. That was the closest I've ever got to hell.
I'm sending them straight up to bed the next time I babysit

WOW!! 10 kids? I would probably be screaming and yelling and very close to smacking those kids (which reminds me of my second grade birthday party which is another story )

I would have asked for like $50 for those kids!!

I babysat Saturday night too, but only for 2 kids. It was only from like 5:45 - 8:00 and I got $12. We ended up playing barbies and making those dolls you and I love! lol...I got them hooked!

<font color=blueviolet size=3>Haha, glad to see it went umm... well........ lol The "I'm gunna tell your parents" threat usually works pretty well! LOL! I agree w/Katie (kiki) though, I woulda wanted more money... even if there were 2 babysitters! (I'm greedy, i know )

Wow. That's a lot of kids. I babysit all the time. I just LOVE kids. When I grow up I want to be, like, a kindergarten teacher or maybe first grade. I volunteered over the summer at this place in my city called Playspace. We've got all these little places set up- like a grocery store or a restaraunt- and the kids just run around and play with whatever they want. It's sooo much fun to help with the summer camp they have there. For one week, kids come from 9-12 and we do crafts with them and such. It was soo cute! We would have around 15 kids at a time, so I understand what you mean. It was good training for teaching, though... trying to get them all to be quiet at the same time was practically impossible until I got used to doing it. Good job doing it all by yourself!

Wow... 10 kids... how old were they?

I babysit alot, but mostly there r only 1 or 2 kids. But sometimes its more... my neighbors have 6 kids and they r 6 or younger... there r no twins, triplets, etc... It's really hard because they r all running in deifferent directionsa dn the youngest always screams and cries when I try to put him in his play pen.... I always earn $10 an hour when I babysit them so i'm well paid. But 10 kids? I can't handle that!

between the ages of about 3 and 8 or so...most were related..like most familys had 2 or 3 kids.

yes...very busy!
