My ADR's seem so BLAH

Actually, my daughter is not a fan of the characters in the costumes. She LOVES the princesses, but she is scared of characters with costumes. That is why I didn't pick Chef Mickey. I am a little concerned about Restauranous (Sp?) in AK that we picked, but we are there that day and I thought I would give it a try. Plus, I am hoping maybe not as many characters are there as there are at Chef Mickeys?? I am still on the fence about that. I THINK she would like it but I don't think the characters can get too close to her or we may have a meltdown. Crossing my fingers.

We did the breakfast at AK once . The character interaction was the same as Chef Mickeys if not better. We got there pretty darn early, and the place was empty. How old is your daughter? Maybe she will surprise you and be OK this time? :goodvibes

I haven't done the O'hana character breakfast (DS isn't a big Stitch fan) so I can't compare the two. But I will add something about Donald's though, we had an ADR for about 9:00 am and was able to enter the park at about 8:30 before it opened. This was wonderful. It was nice to walk to Dinoland without any crowds and we had our picture taken in front of the Tree of Life without anyone in the background.:goodvibes Seems silly I know but it doesn't take a lot to make me happy!;)

My daughter is 4. And actually, this is her first time to disney. She has seen characters at other theme parks and has totally freaked out with them! We took her to Chuck E Cheese for her BDAY at her request and she didn't want anything to do with Chuck E. Although, she watched him from afar and seemed to like him.

I think you have a great variety with a mix of breakfasts, fun lunches, and dinners. My kids at 15 & 20 still love Coral Reef, and have since they were small, so if you are thinking of adding something a bit more high end, that would be my choice (if you are on the DDP).

Kids at that age change so quickly DD may surprise you and be comfortable with the characters. I would show her some Disney videos to get her warmed up. I must admit, Chuck E Cheese is alittle creepy to me too :lmao:

I agree about Chuck E Cheese. Although all kids are different , I just want to say that 3 of my kids hated the Characters when they were 2-5 , Chuck E , Blue and Barney are B-day parties , clowns anything in costume. But each time I took them to disney at this age they were ok with Mickey and others. Last year my son was 4 would not go near anything in costume cried and held on to me, but at Disney was so excited to see Donald Duck at Chef Mickey's, Donald put a napkin on his head why we were waiting for our table I think that did it , he still talks about it. Hopefully she will surprise you too.
