First trip to Disney in ten years and first with a child (son turns three at Disney!) We are traveling first week of November. Here are our dining plans...the itinerary is contingent on park hours, of course...but food choices would stay same...only days would adjust. We are staying at WL. We plan to go back to lodge after lunch for nap each day. DS wakes at 6:00 am so b'fast will be 7am unless a character b'fast!!! Trying for dinners around 5:30pm or 6:00 pm to stay in line with son's normal meal times. I am most adventurous eater. DH is not picky but sticks to pork, chicken, pasta and mild fish dishes. DS is picky...likes carbs (including fruit!) and cheese (he's two remember!)

Day One: Arrive around 12:30pm...Head to Epcot after son's nap.
Lunch = WL Roaring Fork
Dinner = Sunshine Season Food Fair (need quick so DH can get on Mission and we can see Nemo before bedtime!)

Day Two: MK (Fantasy Land and Frontier Land)
Breakfast: CP (earliest available ressie)
Lunch: Peco Bills
Dinner: Libery Tavern

Day Three: HS
Breakfast: Whispering Canyon (or Room Service)
Lunch: Toy Story Pizza Palace
Dinner: 50's diner (figured DH can get the pot roast he yearns for and I never cook because I am not a meat/potatoe kind of a girl!)

Day Four: REST/POOL DAY AT WL
Breakfast: Food Court
Lunch: Whispering Canyon
Dinner California Grill

Day Five: Animal Kindom
Breakfast: Tucker House CM (earliest Ressie avail)
Lunch: Flame Tree BBQ
Dinner: Kona
May go for icecream at boardwalk that night if son still awake :)

Day Six: Magic Kindgom (Tomorrow Land and Toontown)
Breakfast: Room Service
Lunch: Cosmic Rays
Dinner: Chef Mickey's (son's birthday dinner!)
Epcot or Disney Firesworks that evening depending on timing and which shows are available!

Thanks! Any feedback will be helpful. We will do Basic DP...and most b'fasts out of pocket.

I agree with trying to stay with your regular schedule from home.....We went to Disney with our two grandkids a few months ago and we did really well....For our breakfast at Hollywood and Vine with Jo Jo's circus we gave the kids a small snack to hold them over until the 9 am breakfast....
Naps were blown out....have no idea what happened but most of our granddaughters naps were in the carriage....she would just fall asleep and that was it.....we did go back to go swimming and to relax too...
Your meals sounds great.

We did as many as we could on the character meals because most are buffets and we didnt have to sit around waiting for the meals to arrive....our gkids did better with food available sooner then later...

Hope you and your family enjoy yourselves as much as we did.....

Thank you. Yes...I did some buffets also for convenience as he eats free off our plates...we don't usually like the same things :) so buffet seemed a good choice when available. But, I also wanted some yummy meals for me and I threw in pot roast for DH...hope this is well-rounded and everyone is happy!
