I get to make my ADRs Monday :cool1:. To say I am excited is an understatement. Here is the order that I am going for (this is NOT the order of the day we are eating at said restaurants):
'Ohana - dinner
BOG - breakfast
Via Naploi - dinner
Kona - breakfast
Yachtsman - dinner
Tusker House - breakfast?
Cape May Cafe - dinner
Yak & Yeti - dinner
Grand Floridian Cafe

Should I change the order up or does this look good?

sounds good to me...some of my MOST favorites too...have a good time planning...I am planning ours too..

I would consider
Moving tusker house up the list and try for pre park opening. Animal kingdom is amazing with hardly any people and then you are right at the safari when you finish breakfast:)

Other than that it looks amazing, good choices!

Okay. That's what I was figuring. Tusker House isn't a definite. I was just throwing it in.

I agree with moving up Tusker House and doing a pre park opening. Other than that it looks like you are all set for Monday morning. I myself am now just under 11 hours away from making my own ADR's for our trip in early June.

How exciting! I am starting to get that anxious/nervous thing going on. So you will check in a day before us.

Yepper, I see your countdown tracker is one day behind mine. I'm looking forward to it. Where are you staying? We are planning the Boathouse, Artist Point, Jiko, Citricos, California Grill Yachtsman Steakhouse, Whispering Canyon Cafe and a pre park opening Crystal Palace for breakfast.

I can't wait to be able to eat nothing but signature. We won't do that until it's just the two of us. Too expensive with the kids. . We are staying at Caribbean Beach.

We are DVC members and will be staying at the Villas at Grand Floridian.
Very nice. That is where my husband wants to stay. Again, that will be a trip for just the two of us. We have to wait until the kids are doing their own thing. Did you get your ressies?

I guess, if we want Tusker House pre park, I better move it up. That one might be tough.

It is tough to get but well woth the effort. If you are even considering it, I would suggest that you move it up, and secure it JIC. You can always cancel. I always try to secure our wish list on the 180 day mark and then tweak our plans and cancel those meals we decise we do not want.

I do not know if you are using the DDP, but last trip we had two rooms at the GF (our dream trip), and one was FD with one a RO discount. We had two adults and two littles in one room, so we were able to upgrade the regular DDP to DxDDP for 100 per day. Because we had booked so many additional meals for the girls first DIsney vacation, as well as extra lunch TS to get out of the heat, the upgrade paid for itself. WE would nto have been able to justify if the kids were 10, but at 5 and 6 they were only $11 per day more. If your kids are young and you want Signature dining, you may find this pays off for you as well.

I sure did. I was able to get everyone of them I wanted. And for the first time I didn't have any problems with Disney and their website doing it.

Looks smart to me. I think once you get Ohana and BOG, the rest will be a breeze. Good luck!

Nope. My kids will be, at the time of our visit, 13 and 17. Signature has to wait until we can sneak away by ourselves.

Yay! Hopefully I have the same luck tomorrow. It's been a crappy few days so some positive would be nice right now.

WE usually cannot upgrade either. A friend is traveling in May and her little one wil be 2 6 and 7. They ae at POR and or her, the upgrade is awesome. The little one is free adn for the other two they are just 11 apiece to upgrade. First Disney trip so she wants plenty of character meals, and after having looked at her ADR's she was happy to upgrade. Character meals and signature dining, dinner shows and she was way ahead!

:jumping1: Got all of my reservations (including one for this morning at Tusker House:eek:. Which they gladly cancelled for me.) All but two of them were for the times that I wanted, too. I, actually, checked to see if I could get a Beaches and Cream for lunch one day. Yep, I could. We don't eat until 7:30 that night, so I made a lunch reservation. That one is a "we'll see". I have plenty of time to cancel if I want/need to. It's a good day today so far. And it's only 8:00 in the morning.

Yay!

B and C didn't make the cut for us, because amazing as it sounds, I'm diabetic and still learning to make good choices. Sticking me in a room full of people eating amazing ice cream seemed like it was going to end badly one way or another.
