If you are staying on site you must do e-ride night!! We did it for the first time on Fri July 11 and it was the best experience of our one week stay. We had virtually no wait for any ride. We may have waited 10 minutes for space mountain. We rode all 9 rides offered, doing many of them 2 or 3 times. For the price of $12.00 a ticket, this is the best value Disney offers!!

I totally second this! We did an e-night on our last trip and it was the best money we ever spent at WDW.

Sadly, it seems there won't be an e-night this trip - none are scheduled the last week of August.:(

Ditto! We thought it was well worth the money when we were there in August.

We enjoyed our E-night last Tuesday, July 15 - EXCEPT that was a night of rain!! We got completly soaked waiting for Splash Mtn. We almost bought ponchos, but it finally let up so we were able to dry off.

I agree! We did it last trip and we all had a great time. We had no wait for anything and the park seemed to take on a different air.

Can you buy e-ride tickets at the Downtown Disney Hotels? I will be staying there in a few weeks and was interested in attending e-ride. Thanks. :jester:

Imagine my face... I return to the VWL with dd (age 2 at the time) from our "Girl's Day at MK" mommy / daughter adventure... I'm hot, sweaty (it's August), and I had been up until 4 am the night before with a son with a stomach virus. And my sister, bil, and dh say, "CONGRATULATIONS!" I say, "For what?" as I scarf down a cold beer and sandwich. "You're taking the girls to E-Ride tonight!!"
(The "girls" being my 2 nieces, aged 16 and 14).

Huh?!?

I'm not normally a fast ride kinda gal, but the rest of the crew had used their passes at a water park that day and didn't feel like using a park day for E-ride (the girls had LOS passes). So since I had spent my ticket at MK that day, I was the only choice.

I will say that it is an awesome opportunity to ride the typically high demand rides... over and over and over again. (SplashM 4 times, BTMRR at least 3, SpaceM 3 times, BLSS about 4 times, HM once, AO once...) You should definitely try it if you enjoy those rides -- I strongly reccommend it!

However... I DON'T recommend a hot day, heavy toddler, sandwich and beer just prior.

We will be staying at POR August 12 - 19th...how do I find out if e-tickets will be offered during my stay?

Where/how do you purchase?

Thanks for your input.

When you check in, ask about E-Ride nights, and if there are any scheduled during your stay, you can buy the tickets at that time (at checkin or some time prior to the actual e-ride night). There are also on-line schedules you might check out, but I don't have a link handy - maybe someone else will.

E-Ride Nights: 1, 5, 8, 12, 15, 19 & 22

E-ride was one of Disney's BEST ideas. The only thing better is to be there on the Very Merry Christmas Party or what we're trying this time--the Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! You are in the park virtually by yourself and can repeat rides back to back. We were allowed to stay on Splash Mtn and rode Space Mtn 4 times in a row!!! If ANY of these exist while you're there, GO!!!! The only exception to the rule is the Night of Joy---it was PACKED in Sep 2002 and there was VERY LOUD music all over the park. I would NOT encourage attendance to that.

How soon do they post E-ride nights does anyone know?

We will be there Oct. 17-Nov. 1

Is there an unofficial site that might have them.

Last time we went I had a million sites I was checking out.

This year I just have not had the time :(

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

For the past few years there have been NO E-nights for Oct at all; I don't think there will be one this year. Instead there's the MNSSHP :) It's just like E-night from what I hear, but costs more since there's special events, etc.

I got this from this site.....link on the www.wdwinfo.com front page. We are doing the ones on the 19th and the 22nd. :bounce:

As stated by another poster, you can get the E-night ticket at the front desk of your resort. You will have to trade this in for a wrist band after 4PM on the E-night day between Town Hall and the Fire Station on the left after you pass thru the arch onto Main St.
