you click on your very first post where it says edit and then click go advanced and then you are able to delete what was there before.

Hi Dis!!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I can't believe it's over already!

Today was my day off. I won't have back to back days off till next week but for this week I'm off Sun and Sat. In WDW there are no "weekends" your weekend is what two days you have off together lol.

Anyways, I got up around 10 so it was nice to sleep in for a change!! I went to the pool for an hour to study my scripts.

I then met Katie at DHS and we walked around. It was the last day of Star Wars Weekends so it was PACKED. The lines for characters were HUGE. But ride wise..TOT was 30 mins and RnR was 40 which is "light" for summer crowds. Toy Story on the other hand was a 2 hour wait!!

We walked around and I took pics of stuff. They are on FB but I'll post them on here tomorrow since I have to head to bed soon.

We went to see One Man's Dream since she had not seen the film before. We then went to Animation and got to draw Mickey!! I had never done the drawing before so I was psyched!! It is now my new fav thing to do! Mickey is hanging up on my wall now

After that we got out just in time to see Block Party Bash parade. I had not seen it yet so it was exciting.


I now have crossed 3 things off my list: Cirque, seeing all Parades, and seeing all Fireworks!!!!!!!

After BPB we got some drinks and walked through some stores before Katie headed to work.

On my way home I stopped at Target for groceries and headed home for Jenny to come script practice. We worked for about 2 hours and have it pretty well set. I keep running them in my head just in case. Harambe school is tomorrow and Sue is on Tues. Not only do we have that but we had homework with a presentation about giving a message that we have to deliever tomorrow afternoon and on Tues we're having a formal assessment of the training...they couldnt have broken all of this down?!!!

oh well..

Tues we plan on going to Ale House to celebrate (it's ladies night!)

After script practice I made dinner and watch what little TV we have (ABC, CBS, and NBC). and well here I am. I finished my presenation for tomorrow and ran Harambe again out loud so I'll be having a 1/2 hour to relax and then it's off to bed for my 6:10am alarm!!!

I work till 4:30 tomorrow so I'll hopefully have time to post pics and let you know how Harambe went

OT - you had said that they couldn't transfer your numbers from your old phone to your new phone. That happened with mine when my old phone "died". I found out I didn't have my contacts saved to my SIMS card. I just had them saved to my phone. When I received my new phone, I had the guys in our IT dept help me. They set my phone up so when I add a new contact it automatically saves it on my SIMS card. I know it wasn't anything complicated, they just went to a menu or selection and set it there.

Wow! You have so much to do this week. But you can handle it. If your education program for your B.S. in ed. was anything like mine, they trained you to do a lot of things at once that you never thought you could. Does that make sense, LOL? Anyway, I can't wait to hear about the presentation. I'm sure it was a breeze since you are a teacher! I'm going to FB to look at the pics now!! Yay!

Hey Dis!!!


I hope everyone had a great weekend! I can't believe it is Monday already!

...


..well...


I passed my first script!!!! When I presented it infront of the "class" before the park opened there was one part that I forgot but they gave me the first word and I was able to recover. Jenny on the other hand was on a personal "low" all day because she felt she could have done better. We both passed and did it so much better when we reversed roles and did it behind stage with one of our supervisors!!!

We spent the rest of the day touring the other KDC's and we then had lunch. We spent the rest of the day training in the classroom and gave our presentations. We got to play a jeopardy game to review for our "formal" assessment tomorrow. I say "formal" because it is written but it is not graded. It is being used to assess the trainers.

Tomorrow the 2nd group is doing Harambe and we have to test out on Sue and do our formal assessment. We're also doing a fun activity where we will do a scavenger hunt in groups to navigate our way around the park going on stage and back stage. After work tomorrow our group is going to see Finding Nemo Musical at AK and having dinner in the park. Jenny and I and others are going to go to Ale House (off 535) to celebrate our scripts being done!!

Anyways..I know some of you have been asking me about PC...

well..it has been well over 2 weeks and I have still not seen PC. We have communicated via txts but that is about it. I have asked if he wants to hang out but he always seems to have "plans". I really want there to be something there soooo badly but I'm losing hope..and fast. I figured he was a perfect fit..he had the ducks in the row and the full package (sweet, talked a lot, polite)..except me? It hurts but time to move on.

You know sometimes things happen when you least except it right?

..well..

Last night I agreed to go on a date with a guy I worked with at BBB. I'm not going to go into details like with PC but if you know BBB there are no male FGIT but there are males that work in other forms. Anyways, he friended me on FB when I was at home and I sent him a msg last night and we talked for over an hour. We found out we had tons of things in common and I told him I was heading to bed and that if he ever wanted to hang out let me know and gave him my number. He asked what I was doing on the 4th and I said..nothing? He suggested going to Poly Beach on the 3rd for fireworks which was theplan for my roomies/friends and I so anyways he asked if he could join and I said sure. He basically asked if I'd be the only one w/a "date" and I said ya I guess so lol. He said okay its a date. I screamed of course. He claims he will call tonight but I txted him earlier to tell him I passed my script and I didn't get a response. I double checked the # and it's right.


Just like PC, I'm not going to jump the gun. I didn't with PC until I got his txt about "missing me" and then I jumped the gun..and wayyyy too soon. So we'll see what happens. I have a feeling it will be a bit awkward w/my friends there but I had already made plans with them first and I'm not a plan breaker unless its emergency so we'll see how it goes haha.

that is it for now. I'm waiting for Elyse to get here so we can have a hot tub party with some fruity beverages and talk about Thursday. I promise one of these days I'll post pictures but for now check out FB.

WTG on learning the scripts. Memorization has never been a strong suit of mine.
On the boy situation, play hard to get, and when you least expected it, you'll find Mr. Perfect. When you do you'll know it. It sounds crazy and I'm sure you've heard it alot but it's true.
We only have 19 MORE DAYS until we'll be there. Hopefully we can come by and say HI.

I'll give you my Mom-Advice that I give DDs about young men. Ignore everything they say and pay attention to everything they do (not original, but I like it!). Also, be FRIENDS. Hang out, have fun, no pressure. If romance blossoms from it, then wonderful. If it doesn't, you haven't lost anything, but have gained a friend. Yes, it may sting when he introduces you to his new GF one day, but if you are gracious about it, you'll be that much stronger and more well-balanced in your own relationships as they come along.

Have a wonderful time enjoying the fireworks! I'll be looking for you in August when we are back down...
