The day started sunny, and we thought, great another beautiful day.
There was a note that said that the park would open at 8 am on friday.
So we stood up early to catch a quick breakfast and get those couple extra hours. It was not the entire park that was open, but enough to spend those two hours. The children tried Dumbo, Tea Cups and Peter Pan.
The sky above became darker and darker and sure enough it started to rain.
If someone asked me a couple weeks ago how I would spend a rainy day in Disneyland, I would have said in the hotel. But we just bought the yellow raincoats and had a great time in spite of the rain. In the start of the Pirates ride we saw that there was a restaurant (Blue Lagoon) and we decided to eat there, but you had to make a reservation. We got one for an hour later, time enough to try Star Tours again. Now it was time for us to go back to the hotel but I wated to try Space Mountain before I went, so my wife and kids found a place to eat an icecream while I would take the ride.
When I arrived the ride had technical problems and would not run again until later, and later was when I was on my way to the airport.
All in all, if you not count the lost first day, we had a great time in DLP. I had a wonderfull birthday, with beautiful weather on the day. The service in DH cc was superb.
Will we come back, most certainly. Will we stay in DH cc, I would like to, but probably not as it is very expensive.
