Oh my goodness, I feel like I'll be one step closer to going to WDW by tomorrow! :cool1:

Does anyone else feel like this when they get to their 180 day mark??

Im trying so hard not to go OTT with the planning, as we agreed to just relax this time! I'm only booking 2 ADR's - California Grill and Yatchsman Steakhouse. However I am very tempted to book CRT for breakfast one morning before park opening, I know its ridiculously expensive and we are both adults but I feel like I should dine at CRT at least once and the breakfast is the cheapeast option! :rotfl2:

Hopefully we'll be flexible enough to get reservations on the day or a walk up to those that aren't as popular or if we go later on.

I've tied in lots of afternoon pool time, and hopefully a few evenings at the boardwalk - Im excited to go to this Jellyrolls for the first time!

Anyone else getting close to their 180 day mark? :)

I love Jellyrolls! I haven't been able to get there for a few yrs know though. But this one time I went and it was during the time HS would host the Super Soap Weekends, most of the cast from GH and OLTL were there, I had a blast!

Today is our 180 day mark. We feel your excitement. :)
We even got all of our ADR's within 10 minutes of our "wish list" time. Not too shabby. :cool1:

I haven't been before, so Im quite excited to see what its all about, and just on our doorstep with us being at BC!

That's fantastic! I bet you can't wait now. That 180 day mark, just makes it feel so much closer. Plus I like all the planning I can do once I know what ADR's I have. Where did you go for?

We are on the deluxe dining plan and could be considered foodies since we are going during the food & wine festival for the 2nd straight year. :) We are going to complete eating at all of the eateries at the Magic Kingdom this trip and complete all of the World Showcase eateries.. We will have eaten at all of the countries at least once after this trip. :)

Here they are:

9/27: Lunch: Sanaa (12 pm)
Dinner: Yachtsman (6:35 pm)

9/28: Lunch: Prime Time (12:35 pm)
Dinner: Liberty Tree (5:25 pm Halloween Party night)

9/29: Lunch: Via Napoli (11:30 am)
Dinner: Rose & Crown (7:50 pm) Hoping for patio seating.

9/30: Lunch: Biergarten (12 pm)
Dinner: Splitsville (10 pm)

10/1: Lunch: Paradiso 37 (11:30 am)
Dinner: Teppan Edo (7 pm)

10/2: Lunch: San Angel Inn (11:30 am)
Dinner: California Grill (8:55 pm)

10/3: Lunch: The Plaza (11:00 am)
Dinner: Be Our Guest (5:25 pm)

10/4: Breakfast: O'hana (8:00 am)

It's one of the Big Milestones in the countdown, isn't it? :cool1:

First the 180 mark, then the double digits, then the 60 or 30 day mark (for FP+), the single digit dance and finally .... time to fly :dance3:

We booked both the Yachtsman and Cali Grill too - can't wait!

We just got back from NYC this weekend so my WDW planning is in full force too - five months seems like soooooo long though (particularly as my boss is going next week and is visibly excited lol)

Managed to get all of the first 10 days worth of ADR's done.

Got BOG - later than wanted, but we're in!!!

Was more concerned with getting the restaurants, rather than actual times. Very happy indeed

Wow! Definite foodie ADR's there! You've got some excellent bookings there, We're aiming for Cali grill for 9/29 - fingers crossed! EMH until 11pm that night so hopinh to see wishes from the balcony, then stroll over for some EMH ride time!

It is starting to make it feel really real, the 180 day mark! We were supposed to go back until next year, so I can't believe I get to count down so soon! :cool1: I need my doubel digit dance to hurry up :D

Lovely! You go just before us I think so you'll have to let me know what you thought of the food at both of those places with your recommendations!

O you lucky thing getting BOG! I dont think we'll fit a BOG in for the evening, but I might try and get a reservation for either the 3rd of the 4th of October, maybe an early one and tie it in with MNSSHP if we can get tickets for that too!

It was our 180 day mark on Saturday. All we wanted to book was BOG for dinner and Flying Fish. We don't do Dining Plan and to be honest, have done most of the restaurants over the years. Flying Fish is our traditional last night and we couldn't get in last time we went - bit of a fail really - so we didn't want to leave it to chance! Our favourite thing to do is eat at the high bar and even that was full last time.

We couldn't FP any rides as we don't have any tickets yet, but again, not much that we haven't done. Just planning on getting Midway Mania and Soarin' and we're good to go!

We are really looking forward to our September holiday, even though next Monday we are off to New York for 10 days and then husband and I are off to Dubai in July for 4 days. The Mouse has a very strong pull!

Eek Azza - I can't believe that has come around so quickly .

I hope you got the ADRs you want.

Just a thought, could you do BOG as a lunch? I know it's CS but would be nice just to eat in there. I believe they are doing FPs now for lunch aren't they?

I hope MDE is playing nicely for you with your bookings :upsidedow.

I know I can't believe its finally here! I will have my computer mouse poised at 11am on the dot! I'm actually quite excited today just to book the few ADR's we are planning, I can't believe Im going back this year! So incredibly lucky!

Here's what Im hoping for today;

29/09 - California grill at 7.30pm so we can then watch wishes from the balcony and then head over to MK for EMH until 11pm.

02/10 - CRT breakfast at 9am so we can enjoy the hour of EMH first at MK. (We're hoping for MNSSHP this night as well so a big MK day!) i might try and get BOG for about 5pm before the MNSSHP if possible on this day too, as we'll probably head back to the resort after breakfast to relax around the pool before the MNSSHP.

04/10 - Yatchsman Steakhouse 8.30pm for the OH!

I'd really like to eat at Chef's De France for dinner, and Beaches and Cream for lunch whilst we are there but Im hoping we'll get an ADR on the day when its suitable!

Fingers crossed today! :)

Well that was an anxious 20 minutes!

I managed to find a BOG reservation for 4.20pm but as I clicked through my internet explorer shut down!! So that was lost, and of course they are all now booked! Never mind, I might try for a FP lunch reservation when they are released at day 60!

But otherwise I got the other 3 that I wanted!

29/09 - Cali Grill booked for 7.35pm

02/10 - CRT booked 9.30am (Didn't realise you had to pre-pay the full amount! It wasn't a massive problem just seems a bit cheeky taking $116 in advance!).

04/10 - Yatchsman steakhouse booked too! I swapped from the friday to the saturday last minute to keep the friday completly free for a Universal studios day (didn't want to be racing back!).

So im happy!!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

If you are a foodie I d def recommend considering Jiko!

Jiko is actually on our Feb 2015 list of places to eat. We are also going to try Artist Point along with a few others we haven't been to yet. We have knocked out all of the Animal Kingdom and DHS eateries already. We try not to do the same places over and over again but the Biergraten and Rose & Crown always make our list. They are the only two places we got into on our honeymoon because our travel agent did not inform us that it was wise to make ADR's. Haven't used a travel agent since then and we have had a blast planning ever since. :cool1:

Oh, that's not good. Are the BOG reservations really so hard to get? Our 180 days will be here two weeks tomorrow and I'm really hoping for a 6pm-7:30pm reservation for BOG on our +8 day. I didn't realise they all go just so quickly.

What's the best plan of action? Should I aim straight for the +10 day and work my way back, or go straight for the day I want. I've never done it before because this is the first time staying onsite, so I'm already in a bit of a panic because I'd rather phone. I'm going to try to book it online with online opening an hour earlier though.

Argh - it's like computers know your stress/tension and just decide to shut down!

Glad you got the main ones you wanted :cool1::cool1:. I didn't realise CRT was full payment either - yikes! I don't think we are doing that one, going to do Akershus instead. I had read CRT require a deposit but not the full payment - perhaps I just missed that! :scared:

Yeah, you could try for a BOG FP ressie if you don't mind using your FP up - it's not like they are that generous with them :lmao:!

Good news anyway :thumbsup2.

We did Jiko last year and it was our favourite meal! I'd highly recommend Jiko :)

I was unlucky as my internet crashed, but I only really wanted one specific day as it would have tied in with our plans for MNSSHP! I could have got a reservation but by the time I'd got it back up and logged back in they had all gone. So you can get them you just have to be lightening mcqueen fast!!

I'd definitely aim for a far away as possible as most people are going for a week or so so the further out the more chance you might have!

We cruise from the 5-9th and then have one night as AKL, I might try for a reservation on the 9th Oct when that window opens just in case! The hype probably isn't going to be worth but I so want to see it!

Try for the day you want first. BoG bookings were a lot easier for the summer months you could get them for a day or so once the 180 past (and not just the +10) but at the moment the bookings are when the likely free dining window is for the US which always makes the popular restaurants much harder.

CRT is a full pre-payment unless you have a DDP that includes TS credits. I paid $150 upfront a couple of years ago for mine & DD birthday. Totally worth it though - not interested in eating in Norway when I can eat in the Castle princess: (the 2nd TS credit or $15 extra is totally worth it to us)

At the moment (and I stress at the moment) the BoG FP for lunch is in addition to the 3 everyone gets. However from the reports I seen they are getting stricter about invite only.

I know, typical isn't it! I'm honestly not too fussed about BOG as the food menu isn't that appealing but I'd like to see it! So lunch might work out well hopefully!

Yep full pre payment, not a big deal as it's gone on the credit card (checked and the rate has converted to £69 so not a bad exchange rate!). Although it's not a buffet you can eat all you want so in going to stuff my little face to get my money's worth :) I'd love to do Akerhaus but I'll leave that for next time I think we're trying not to tie ourselves down with lots of ADR's this time & just enjoy playing it a bit more by ear!
