She was in the kitchen, trying to use a vegetable peeler, when she yelled out "Mom! This thingy is broken!" So I go in there to see whats wrong and she was holding the peeler sideways instead of the blade facedown, trying to peel a cucumber. I couldn't help but laugh my butt off.:lmao::rotfl2:

At least she was being helpful and peeling the cucumbers.

But in my non-blonder world, I don't think I could've done it either at 12. :scared1:

You should see my sister attempt to use a manual can opener....Wow:rotfl2::rotfl2: I took her car keys away....there's no way someone that clueless should operate a motor vehicle!!

LOL... Oh I dread it when she begins to drive. And yes she is Blonde. I let her sit in the driver seat one day to practice...OMG , she scared the poo out of me. She would confuse the brake and gas pedal and either slam down on the brake and about throw us out the windshield or gun the gas and send our heads backwards on the headrests and rocks a flyin.:scared: I told her we will practice again in a few more years.

I have had mine hold it upside down. In their defense, I have boys, they don't do too much peeling.

I have a 13 yr old blonde boy. His moment happened when we were in the neighboring town, wanted to hit the italian bakery. It is across from a church. Bakery was closed but a lot of cars parked there for church. We were discussing it, the lack of parking and large congregation and all, I said it must be a popular church. He replied "or they could be spiking the wine." I love him but sometimes I just wonder how he will get through life.

Last night DD11 was putting some dishes in the dishwasher, but she kept opening and closing it over and over again.

DH-- in an attempt to point out how over using something could cause it to break or wear out-- asked her "What happens if you bend a paper clip back and forth over and over?" Her confused response.... "Your arms get tired?" :headache:

The rest of us started laughing and DH just said "nevermind". DD5 had to explain to her that it would break and that she should just open the dishwasher once and make sure she has everything in before she closes it.
