Huh?

I didn't even know he was thinking about girls yet, let alone want to hold one of their hands!! DH just informed me a few mins ago that he spotted them coming home from work yesterday.

And what's with this 14 year old wanting to be with a 12 year old?

And now, what do I do about it, if anything?

I wouldn't worry about it too much.I think it will blow over as most "relationships do at that age.My DD is 13 and wouldn't be seen talking to a younger boy never mind hold hands with one but each child is different I suppose.

I was a little tart. I was holding hands in kindergarten. IMHO, I don't think you have anything to worry about. But, I think teasing at this stage is totally appropriate.

My 8 yr old son has already announced to me, to his Mom, and to his brother that he intends to marry his 12 yr old cousin Jennifer someday. We just reply, OO-kay...., but we arent moving to Arkansas....

I did say a little something to him about "Amber" (that's her name) and he get's so shy on me! I never thought he'd be that way about it!

When we were walking on the beach last week, I said to both my sons in a teasing way, "look guys, there's some nice pretty girls for ya" and my 12 y.o. said "I already have one!"
