I know in previous years guests have been able to get into the park before the party actually started.

Anyone know how early you can get in this year?

I'm flying down 12/18 and my flight lands at 2:55. We were hoping to go straight from the airport to Disney and to the party that night. (My brother lives in Orlando, we won't be using Magical Express.)

At 4pm did you get your wristband at the front, or did you have to wait until closer to 7pm to get the wristband?

We went to the party on the 11th and got right in at 4:15 with our party ticket, they gave us our wristband right when we got to the park
