Booked for dec 7-12, is MVMCP worth it? We really enjoyed MNSSHP two years ago but our kids are still really young and just don't stay up super late. Are they missing out? We. Would love to take their annual Santa picture while at disney. Any suggestions on that? We are at BLT. When does the Santa at MK start to appear?

My adult daughter and I really enjoyed MVMCP, and it seemed that the kids we saw were enjoying it also. The parade is great, the snow on main street is "magical", and there are lots of characters to see (altho there are lines for meet n greets), and there is a dance party and a stage show. You could get there at opening and leave after the first parade if you needed to. I think it is worth it at least once.

I absolutely LOVE MVMCP. OK, I will admit I am a bit older. But that being said, I think you should try it at least once. As PP said, the snow on Main Street is magical, the parade amazing. And seeing Santa in the MK coming down Main Street is a wonderful experience. I usually don't stay the whole evening, I have rheumatoid arthritis and it takes a toll on me at Disney, but I think the party is worth every penny. I went one year with family and all we did was the parade and fireworks, no extra rides. And they totally thought it was worth it!

You can get pictures taken with Santa at DTD and Santa and Mrs. Claus also make an appearance in Epcot. You can check times for your annual pictures!

Should try it at least once...Love the fireworks, parade, snow on Main Street and the lighting of the castle show! Enjoy!

Yes - MVMCP is magical - especially if you can stay late enough for the second parade and some rides at the end (usually zero wait times).

Make it a leisurely day including naps (maybe no parks at all earlier that day). You don't need separate MK admission, just your MVMCP tickets. You can arrive as early as 4:00 pm. If everyone's well-rested, you might make it until midnight when the party ends.:santa:

Thanks all! I should clarify I have a 5, 3, and 15 mo old-I wish they could make it until midnight! I think we would enjoy it, maybe next years trip. :) I would like to try it for sure!

Our 4 and 5 year old LOVED it! great parade, street entertainment on Main street in snow while waiting on parade. NO waits after the parade for ride lines! It was our favorite day/night of the trip. If you don't go- I recommend going on an MVMCP day even though it is short because the lines were significantly shorter all day that day (we went on a tues). We visited and got great pics with Santa and Mrs. Claus in America in Epcot.
