MVMCP - what is the Fantasyland Holiday Hop?

Trying to work out an itinerary. What is this?

It's a dance party in the covered area right next to Ariel's Grotto in Fantasyland.
On 12/1, there was a DJ playing music and several characters dancing along.
We saw Gepetto, Pinocchio, and the Cat (sorry, can't remember his name, the one from the place where the boys turn into donkeys) inviting guests to come and join them.
It seemed to go on all night and it looked like the kids (and some big kids!) were having lots of fun!

We just got back today, and my DD2 LOVED the Holiday Hop!

DS3 loved the Holiday Hop too. If we would of let him he would of stayed back there and danced the night away!

Pinnochio group would take a break and Chip, Dale and Pluto came out. My kids wanted to stay there all night. I had to drag them away to do something else.
