MVMCP Tuesday or Thursday

We leave for Disney December 6th, and I'm wondering when should we do MVMCP. We are planning to purchase APs but don't plan on doing another part on party day. Are crowds worse on one of these days over the other?

I would say Tuesday the 8th would be best. EMH is at Epcot that day which will attract guests.

Thursday at MK will be kicking off the weekend so I think Tuesday will be lower crowds.

We are going Thursday, 12/10. I wanted to have enough time to get that "sleep in" day before we go

Hmmm I thought it was EP EMH thur night not Tue, guess I'll have to recheck the schedule!
I was planning on thur dec 3rd, our arrival day, so we could start at MK. But we arrive very early so I'm not sure we should start the trip with a late nite. And let year, thur dec 4th was sold out and very busy. It was the first week after no parties the week before during thanksgiving week. Not sure if that had anything to do with the crowds as I thought Thursday's were not super busy. Now I'm trying to decide between the Sunday dec 6th and Tues dec 8th. We used to do Sunday's all the time but haven't for several years.

I am going to say make it whichever day works best in your plans and strategies and go with that. I have found the MVMCP to be packed no matter what day of the week it is. I personally don't think one day from the next really matters. These hard ticket events have become so popular that they are just about sold out or close to sold out regardless of the day. When we attended the MVMCP back in December 2013, it was suppose to be a lower attendance day at the MK, lower attendance forcasts for MVMCP, and in WDW as well in general; Instead it was very busy. In spite of all that we had a great time and would do it again.

Well, you are right, we usually just go with what works best in our schedule. Even as far as park days, I go by where we wanna be, not which park is predicted to be busy or not that day. Never had a problem that way, only day we've really switched was last trip when it was SSW at DHS, we switched our EP and DHS days. I was so set on the first day of our trip for our MVMCP and now pretty sure we will switch it, and not sure to when. Especially since looks like the evening EMHs will be different this year, they've been the same the last few years so we had things down but this year is a big change so gotta change things. It's also hard when, I think 6 of our 10 nights, are mvmcp and mk is our fave park. Nights are def our favorite time with all the lights and decorations and of course the awesome castle dream lights!
