I have family members going to Disney and the planner has a question I cannot answer. I am certain somebody here will know. :)

She was told she could use her MVMCP ticket to get fastpasses from 4 - 7 on top of her magic band fastpasses for the day. She asked me how that works and I have no idea.

I did a search, but it is not working well from my device. I seem to recall that if she buys them while logging into MDE that is no longer an option but she can do it if she buys the ticket like a regular guest. ???

She has an AP I believe and therefore wants to use the AP discount. That requires her to be logged into her MDE.

  • Does she make fastpasses as the same kiosk the rest of us go to or can she make them online?
  • Do they have to be made and same day and after 4:00 or anytime that day, but the FPs have to be used after 4?
  • And final question, if they are tied to that ticket and not their magicbands, what do they use the enter the attraction with?

We booked FP online with our MVMCP tickets. We were not able to make 6 total. We brought the hard tickets and used those to enter and swipe the FP stations.

1. Not if she puts the party ticket in her current name in her MDE account.
2. She would need to create a new "alter ego" name in the MDE account (or create a new stand-alone MDE account) to buy the party ticket.
3. Either way, if she's using her "alter ego" name.
4. They can be made in advance or day-of, if she's using her "alter ego" name.
5. Use the plastic ticket for both the MK entrance and FP+ entry, if she's using her "alter ego" name.

Advance-booked party FP+ must be scheduled between 3:30PM (yes) and 6:30PM.

So basically, she cannot use her AP discount to get the tickets and get the extra fastpasses, right?
She either has to buy tickets under a different login and get 3 extra Fastpasses or she gets the discount and it is tied to her MDE?

AFAIK, she can buy an AP-discounted ticket and, using her MDE, transfer it to another guest (like her alter ego name.)
