Hoping all of my knowledgeable DISer friends can help here.

My boss will be in WDW from 11/28 to 12/11...She has 4 tickets to MVMCP on 12/9. Well, their plans got changed & now she can not attend that evening,12/9.
She is still wants to go another evening during her stay, but has called Disney and they say the tickets are non-refundable.
She doesn't want a refund, she would just like to change the evening she goes....like, 12/5, 12/7 or 12/10 (her birthday!)

So, here's my question...I have not yet purchased MY tickets yet for the 12/9 MVMCP, can we purchase HER tickets and have NO problems getting in to the MVMCP? Or do they "legally" have to be transfered in name through Disney? Are there names on the tickets?
Or has anyone every been able to change the date of attendance through Disney before?

I hate to see her "out" all that $$ and have to repay for 4 more tickets for another night...just doesn't seem right, but maybe you all can help. ::yes::

I would say, Yes! you can buy her tickets.

They are not person specific, only age specific...

Wish I could answer your question! Personally, I don't see the problem with you purchasing them from her. Maybe you should call Disney and ask.

Good luck!

Based on the fact that there are all kinds of these tickets for sale on E-Bay would lead me to believe that there is no restriction on resale of these types of tickets.

Others might wish to comment...

Just got ours today !! You can definitely use someone else's, I ordered them, and we are all from different families. There is no name on the tickets - they are identical to the hard plastic PH's with pics of the characters on them - on the back they just list the MVMCP date and the age (3-9) or (10+).

Seems to me I have read posts where people say they have been able to change the dates - I would recommend she call and ask to speak to a manager on duty and at least try.

Just wondering...I just assumed that I would have to buy my 2 year old a ticket but I see the ages you have listed. Does anyone know...do you have to buy a ticket for a 2 year old?

No, a 2 yr old does not need a ticket. Not until they turn three.
