My sil has no decided she wants to go the party next Wednesday. If I order the tickets today will they keep them there for her to pick up when she checks in on Saturday? I don't want to risk shipping them in case they don't get here before they leave.

Any suggestions?

I've always picked up my tickets -- never had them shipped. So I don't see why not.

I've never gotten them at check-in, though -- always at MK.

I just assumed you'd get them at check in, so if I order and pay for them, they will be waiting at the ticket counter at Magic Kingdom?

That's been my experience. However, I don't know if that's the only way to do it.

I would suggest that when you order, you tell them that your sister will be picking up her ticket(s) separately, in case it has to be split from your order in some way. But I'm not sure if that's necessary -- I'm pretty sure I once ordered tickets for three, picked up one, and sent the other two to get theirs later.

Ha I wish I was going :( I'm just helping her plan her trip. I think i will call and order them instead of doing it online.

Thanks so much :)

Have the tickets purchased for pick up at "will-call". This is actually any ticket-issuing location at WDW; they go into the ticketing system and call up the reservation and print the tickets on the spot.

Normally for will-call when you do the reservation online they will display a receipt for you to print. It will have bar codes on it. The reservation number itself is always four letters followed by seven or eight digits. If she does not bring the reservation number, the reservation can also be called up (at any park ticket window) using the credit (or debit) card that was used for the purchase.

We just did this for MNSSHP. I ordered them online and picked them up when we checked in at WL. It was not a problem.

As a previous poster said, there's a new feature this year that lets you print your tickets at home -- for free. Can't beat that for convenience!

Opt for printing at home that way you can send the link to you SIL and she can print the tickets before she leaves

Do you still get a separate MVMCP ticket if you are staying at the resort? Or is it added on to your room key like the resort tickets are? I'm wondering because I'd like to buy tickets for my party as their Christmas presents and it'd be cool if I could put them in a card. Thanks.

Its a separate card - we just received ours :goodvibes

When I had to pick up a MNSSHP ticket at MK I had to show them my ID and the credit card that was used to purchase the ticket.

You may want to ask the CM when you purchase your ticket if they will let your sister pick up her ticket separately. You might have to pick it up with your ID. Or, have her purchase her ticket separate from yours so she can use her ID and credit card to pick up her ticket.

Maybe there is a way to note on the account that "Person X" will be picking up one of the tickets? That's if you're ordering under your name but she is picking it up without you there.
