MVMCP ticket question (not fastpass related)

We originally purchased tickets online for one party (11/27) but then called and had them switched to a different party (12/1). A few days later, the tickets from my original purchase arrived at my house. Do you know if these hard tickets are now the valid tickets to the 12/1 party? Is there a way for me to know? When I was on the phone with Disney getting the tickets moved, they didn't say anything about sending me new tickets so I'm just not sure if these hard tickets that arrived have any use to me or not. I was hoping to bring them as a back up.

If the MNSSHP tickets are already in your MDE those plastic tickets just act as a key to the allocations on your MDE so it really doesn't matter if you have them or not. I would make sure the date is correct on MDE and then bring them if it makes you feel better but those tickets could still access everything else on your MDE so if the idea was to make sure you don't accidentally use a regular day ticket then those plastic ones won't prevent that.

I guess the idea was just to have something in hand "just in case". The tickets are in MDE and look fine, we aren't planning to use them to enter the park that day as we'll be using park hoppers and intend to get in around 2:00 (after spending the morning at another park). I just wondered if the hard tickets were transferred to our new date and/or how I could find out about that. I'll probably just bring them along just in case they are useful for some reason but it doesn't seem like I'll need them.

Yes. Once they are linked to MDE (which they are since your tickets show up there) they simple access whatever is in MDE just like a MB.

Yes. Once they are linked to MDE (which they are since your tickets show up there) they simple access whatever is in MDE just like a MB.

There is some restrictions on this as they will not do resort features like room key or meal plan, charging to room (but you can go to front desk and get a card that does and they might be able to use those cards for it also). If you don't want a MB.

Thanks for further clarification. This is all true they only access the ticket media in MDE and possibly photopass.

they will do photopass and fastpass but I think that's it. 1 card for all park features.

edit to add:

they also do the things MK unlocks like sorcerers and pirates game but not by default, you still need to sign up for them.

We will have magicbands as we're staying on site, but I've never been to a party before so I wasn't sure how important it was to have the plastic tickets with us. I saw people talking about wanting to have something with them in case MDE was messed up or something. Just want everything to go as smooth as possible.

nothing to worry about, they are really good at getting everyone in with minimal inconvenience. The system is old enough now that it's pretty streamlined and quick.
