MVMCP souvenirs

I thought I had read/heard somewhere that there are special souvenirs for purchase only during the MVMCP and if you want them you have to purchase them during the party or you will not find them anywhere else. Does anybody know what these special souvenirs are? I have heard about special T-shirts, but is there anything else, like ornaments, etc.? I don't want to spend a lot of time shopping during the party (my DH will be mad!!) so if I see something I want to just pick it up right away and move on! Thanks for any tips!!

I especially collect pins. Are there special ones for MVMCP?

A different pin is sold each night of MVMCP. For 2003, there were t-shirts, sweatshirts, an ornament, and a Holiday Plush Mickey which has Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on the back of his coat and "Magic Kingdom 2003" on the bottom of one of his feet.

There is a lot of special merchandise at MVMCP. They have everything from shirts, pins, magnets, special plush. My advice to keep your DH happy would be to shop after the party. The Emporium will be open late just like it is every night. Shop then and HAVE FUN!!

You get two for free,you get your free MVMCP family photo and MVMCP button that they give you when you get your photo taken.

I was disappointed in the merchandise, truthfully. If you don't wear t-shirts or collect pins, there was nothing for you. All I bought was an ornament. I kept circling the display in the Emporium hoping for more. More ornaments (especially figural), perhaps some lithographs, frames, even a special edition Harmony Kingdom box would be delightful. I couldn't even find any postcards.

I know the MVMCP merchandise is only available at the party. What TIME (literally) do they put out the merchandise? I'd like to shop early and have the packages held until midnight. Do you MVMCP alumni think this would be feasible????

I'll be buying three ornaments (one for each child and one for my dh and me) and maybe a t-shirt!

IMHO, the best souvenir of MVMCP is the photo - and it is included with your ticket!

The stores are all closed from the MK closing until the official start of the party. Last year on the night we went, there was a line to enter the Emporium - we were 2nd in line - and everyone was watching the time! We went early, got our items, had them sent to our room, and didn't think any more about shopping that evening.

We bought the pin for that night - Tinkerbell! - they are put back under the counter, only one is allowed per guest and your wristband is marked when you purchase. These you have to actually ask for, everything else is out.

As mentioned, each person also gets a free circle button and the family picture - which is mailed to your house a week or so later.
